The drive blade was worn and wouldn't turn the drum
First off make sure you have a good quality Phillips screw driver. When the blade is worn out you can disassemble the ice maker with out removing the front. But to reassemble the front cover must be removed. Do yourself a favor and buy the drum and nut also. I am a mechanic by trade so the tools and repair was really easy. Be careful of the ice crusher BLADES they are very sharp. If your not mechanically inclined take pictures before disassembly, that will help you greatly. Hope this helps someone. Thanks Rory

Water leaking from dispenser
Used a nut driver to remove the small panal from the back of the refrigerator. Removed the two screws holding the valve in place. Unscrewed the water lines from the old valve and cut the ends off of them. Push the water lines back into the new valve. Unpluged the wiring from the old valve and installed them in the new valve. reinstalled the new valve and put the cover back on. Tested system for proper operation.

No power to front panel for ice, water, and light.
Replaced the ribbon from circuit board in door to the circuit board which controls the water and ice dispenser and back light. Unplug the refrigerator before any repair is attempted. You can short the boards when replacing the cable. Remove the front plate where the buttons are. Be careful, it slides up then out. once you remove the outer panel, you will see the ribbon which attaches to the front panel to the circuit board in the door (of course freezer side). on the plate you just removed, there is a white cover plate secured with four small philip head screws. Don't try to replace the ribbon without removing this cover. If you do, you run the risk of breaking the the ribbon and then you'll have to order another one. Make sure you note which way the cable is inserted. Insert the cable in both slots on the door and panel. Replace the screws and front panel.

Stop crushing ice.
Crusher housing had broken so I ordered the part and replaced it. I have since put it back together twice. When I first installed it it crushed the ice no problem. From that point on it seems to lock up and won't crush the ice, cube ice works but the blades seems to hang up after the first use. I can turn the cog by hand but I have to turn it backwards a few times before it turns freely, however it still won't crush the ice. I took it apart and put it back together again. Same thing happened after the first time I tried it. Can you help me. The old crusher broke into. Could something else be locking up?Thanks for the help

Ice Maker Would Not Feed The Blaade Had Come Loose On The Shaft
Very simple, pulled out the old ice reservoir which contains the feed ice crusher & blade attatched to the shaft. Emptied the old ice tray instaalled thre new tray (after washing & drying) & put it place make sure the motor drive meshed with the new shaft drive. Lowered the ice detector arm & away it went. Probably took 10-15 minutes. I tried to fix the old one twice & spent maybe 3-4 hrs but the repairs never lasted very long.

light socket burned out
snapped the wires from frig onto the proper prong and viola,it works. The proper prong is identified by the size because there are two prongs with the wires and two connecting prongs in the socket. I talked to a very helpful representative and she gave me the number for Frigidaire, when I was confused by the placement of the wire. Wish I had remembered her name to share with you. As it turned out I didn't need to call Frigidaire.
