Original cast door strike broke off flush with frame
I unbolted the diswahser from the cabinet, slid it forward about 6", removed two small screws, switched the new part (better made than original-not a cast part)for the old and buttened evrything back up. Works like a charm.

Spinner fell off of delivery tube.
Wrap your pliers in some kind of padding so you don't damage the plastic. Spin the base ( not the spinner itself) which is left-threaded(normal). If the gasket doesn't fall out (mine did) pull it out gently. Clean the gasket socket with a rough cloth or scotch-brite pad and install the new one. Put it all back together and wash dishes, man.

water leaking from under the dishwasher
Replaced the water inlet valve by laying on the floor. Being it was at the front left, it was easy to get too. Being a plumber by trade I knew to turn the water off at the valve, and unplug the electrical connection. The new one went on the same way the old one came off, really simple. By the way, the call in order went really great and I got the new one in two days. Thanks again, Fred Lavergne

Lower arm came loose and fell against the heating element melting a hole in it.
I initialy took the arm off, and took it to the store where I bought it. The store referred me to their website, which means not only did I leave the store empty handed, I was still on my own to get the right part. I tried the 800 number for the recommended site, and was put on hold(waiting time 22 minutes). I shopped the internet and found that Part select was almost half the cost, and shipped faster. I entered the part number, placed my order and had the part in three days (I counted the Sunday I placed the order). The piece snapped into place, no tools required, and yippee! my dishwasher was working like new in under 10 days for less than the cost of a movie with popcorn!!! I will definitely use this site again, and will recommend it to anyone needing a part.

Lower spray arm had a hole melted from heater
Iwas hoping it wasn't a pump problem, I trouble shooted waht I could and determined that the loss in water presssure due to the hole was preventing any water to the upper spray arm. By replacing the lower spray arm for a small cost solved the problem and did not have to invest $400-$500 in a new dishwasher. The new gaskets were great .
