Microwave went pop and nothing would work.
I mistakenly thought I had to remove the microwave to get to the back, not so. I would have had access to what I needed to unscrew; but I have to admit the hassle of taking it down and putting it back equals having to work on it attached to the shelf-your call on how you do this. I unscrewed the front top to remove the vent piece that is across the top front of the microwave. This will reveal the control panel screw. (While you have the vent removed you might want to clean the vent and the exposed filter.) carefully lift and pull out control panel. I unplugged a piece as the wires were tied tight. It will not completely detach, so carefully tip it back from exposed insides. The fuse is not clear but white with silver ends so look in upper right for it. I popped it out and replaced it. Replugged the wired part to cover and carefully fit tabs in and slide down to secre. Replace screw, replace vent piece and secure screws on top of microwave. I plugged it in to test before putting it back above my stove.

peel and stick on the inside of the microwave door had a hole
Finding the part was the most difficult as this is a very old microwave. I spoke to a really nice lady and we figured out that even though it was not the exact dimensions of my previous film that it would certainly fit since it was just a little bigger that what I had. Once I got it lined up correctly, it was really easy to put on after I removed the backing and took off the old film which wasn't difficult either.

There was a minor explosion in my microwave that shattered the ceramic shelf that forms the bottom of the inside of the microwave.
Called parts select and discussed the situation and they identified the correct replacement shelf. When I received it, I just pushed it into place (the edges of the shelf are coated with a rubber seal) and it is there. The unit looks like new. It was great to be able to find a part for an appliance from 1988!

no problem. just dirty and needed replacement
I first pulled off the vent cover above door of microwave and was originally just cleaning grease and dust around my built in microwave. i never even new tthere was afilter inside the vent cover. The cover comes off by unscrewing a couple of screws and tugging gently not to break anything else that may be attached. slide out the filter. order another through this fast delivery and you pretty much do the reverse to place it back in.

Range light bulbs were burned out
We needed a phillips head screw driver to remove the single screw holding the light bulb cover in place.
Removing the old bulbs was a little work, because they had come loose from the sockets. We unplugged the microwave, so we could grip the sockets with a tool. I think my husband used a needle nose plier for this.
The new bulbs screwed in easily, and then we refastened the light bulb cover with the phillips head screw driver.

No power to any microwave functions
Access is via RT. SIDE Panel as you face microwave. There are three screws on the bottom right edge to loosen. After that the side panel slips down and off. the fuse is located in the rear near where the power cord comes in. It is the white ceramic tube 1/4" in dia. and 1-1/2" long. Pull it out like any fuse and replace with new one. Reassemble and you are done!

Replacement of hood light bulbs
Unplug the microwave. Then remove the six screws that hold the lower panel which has the light bulb cover and a couple of vent filters. The light bulb sockets are on a fixture that is connected by a quick connect electrical connector. Disconnect that and the whole panel is free to access the bulbs. My bulbs were very fragile and trying to twist them out resulted in the glass twisitng loose with the base still in the sockets. I needed to use a needle nose pliers to remove the bases and then I replaced the bulbs and put every thing back together
