took oven base plate out. diconnected ignitor , put new clips on neutral wire as per instructions, inserted new ignitor, put everything back, worked ok.
Remove broiler pan, disconnect wires from igniter to gas safety valve and connection in back corner of stove, under a metal plate held in with one screw. Read moreth the two screws, plug in the two wire clips to the safety valve just below the igniter and plug in the plastic clip with both wires going into it over in the corner of the stove, and replace the cover over that connection with the one screw, which you removed at the beginning of this process, and you're done.
