It didn't, After 2 new sparkplugs 2 coils iand a fly wheel and coil set using a business card. And is killed switch disconnected? Still no spark and I don't have the clue and I'm amechanic.
Pulled trimmer apart, found plastic shims on coil broken. This allowed the coil to drop onto the flywheel, which stopped the crank and in turn sheared the flywheel key. If the key shears it will throw the timing off and the engine will not start. The key is made into the flywheel so it had to be replaced. The trimmer runs again.
