bottom left side of door leaked
Watched your video and replaced seal in approx. 5 minutes, probably less. Still leaked so I looked at your page for solutions, found out where the air vent was and pried it open, very disgusting mess. With screw driver and long tweezers dug out what I could then poured a mixture of bleach and water in the vent. Totally cleaned it, very white, vent cover went into a bucket of bleach and hot water and it cleaned very well. Put vent cover back on and did a load of dishes, works fine. Thank you for having such a great website, if I ever need help again I will be back. It's a shame someone didn't tell you about cleaning the air vent when you bought the dishwasher.

Dishwasher leaking in lower front door area
Removed and installed new door gasket which I found to be a simple task. Ran dishwasher and it still leaked. I then looked at other repairs submitted by your customers with the same problem. One had mentioned removing the lower spray arm and checking the screws around the pump. Sure enough, 2 screws were nearly ready to fall out and all others were loose. Tightened those, reinstalled spray arm, ran the dishwasher and no leaks. A big "Thanks" to you and also to other customers for sharing both their problem and how they were able to fix it. It sure saved me some money!!

water leak
Got on the computer, located your site and read the repair stories.Thought, I can do this. Ordered the impeller and seal kit. I followed the same procedures as your other customers, however, when I turned it on for a test it still leaked. Went out looked for a new dishwasher, for $389.00. After talking to my wife,(been married over 60 years)decided to try one more time. Went through the same steps. Loosen the plastic ring remove The revolving spraying arm, tipped on the front to get to the bottom. mopped up the water, disconected water, electric, and hoses. Pulled the motor and pump unit, disassembled the pump unit, then I realized I had installed the rubber and plastic bearing backwards. The rubber to rubber wore out real fast. Ordered a new seal kit (no impeller) Put it all back together and it works just like it did 19 years ago. Total cost less than $60.00. It is a good feeling when your able to fix somthing like this, especially ehen your a fat 83 year old. I would like to meet the person that changed this in a half hour.
