Ice maker is turned off, why ice is collecting on the bottom of freezer?
For model number RS25J500DWW
PartSelect logo
Hello Chris, Thank you for your inquiry. This is often caused by a clog in the drain assembly or excess water building up in the drain pan. Check the drain pan for any standing water, and check the drain tube in the bottom of the freezer for any clogs and flush with hot water. The excess water is created during the defrost cycle and is supposed to drain through the drain tube into the drain pan and be evaporated by the condenser fan and evaporator. We hope this helps you.

Refrigerator was freezing all contents
After waiting 6 weeks for a repair company to get the part, I ordered it from you and got it within days. The first company I had never heard of the problem. The second company stalled as said they could not get part. I got the part quickly from you, and I had another repair company do the damper installation which was done quickly. And now after 2 months of having only a freezer, not a refrigerator, I am thrilled.
I will always recommend your company for parts. The part was perfect, installed easily by the right company and I happily have a functioning refrigerator.

We misplaced the mounting screws for our handles while moving.
It was easy! I just used an alan wrench to losen the side bolt, then slid the handle into the new mounting screws that I had hand-screwed and then tightened it all up.
