Machine had been walking and vibrating for a couple of months during the spin cycles.
Looked on line and found the cheapest repair for my symptoms seemed to be the tub wear pads. Disconnected the washer, tilted it to where I could inspect the pads and discovered one was missing. So ordered a set, (Only complaint was the shipping was as much as the part). Parts arrived in 2 Days (!). Tilted the washing machine again...reached up with a small flathead screw driver and pryed the old pads off...snapped the new ones on (takes a little pressure, so eat your wheeties)...and job done. Stood everything back up and re-connected hoses, drain and plug...Works like brand new...Unfortunately for the wife who thought she was going to get a new one....LOL

The washing machine started making a clicking type noise and would not drain after the rinse cycle completed.
After entering the Parts Select website and searching for the model number information, I found a video which described the problem. The video explained the step by step procedure to access the possible problem. The problem was exactly as the video described, I ordered the repair part, made the repair, and placed the washer back in service. Oh, by the way, the part was delivered to my house the next day.

Washer spun at about a quarter speed
The spin cycle was super slow leaving clothes soaking wet at the end of a full wash cycle. Ordered a clutch repair kit, watched the how to video that was e-mailed to me with my order while I did the repair and got it done in about 45 minutes. This was my first true appliance repair outside of maybe a busted fuse or replacing the heating element in a stove. Never thought taking the motor, transmission and clutch out of the washer and putting all back together would be so very simple. Meanwhile my wife is pissed because she thought she might be able to go get a brand spankin new washer...until I fixed the old one. Thanks for saving me some dough PartSelect.

Agitator stopped washing clothes
I followed the instructions to remove the agitator and install new drive assymbley. This is the second time the drive unit has been replaced over the last 3 years. I have no idea how long the unit has been operating in this rent house. It was there when I bought the rental 10 years ago.

Washer was slow to fill with cold water.
After removing and inspecting the old part, I didn't see any visible sediment buildup that would have impeded the flow of water through the valve. The problem may have been a partially burned out solenoid or just simple wear that prevented the valve from opening all the way. So I decided to replace the part. The only thing that prevented this from being a 10-minute installation was the fact that I didn't have access to the side of the machine, so it was a little awkward leaning over from the front with the cabinet tipped forward to bolt the new part on through the back. Also, I found it difficult to connect the outlet house clamp to the part once I had it on, so I had to remove it, connect the hose to the loose part, and then re-bolt the part on with the hose already connected. Still and all, a simple fix, and the washer fills very quickly now.
