upper spray arm came off during wash cycle
We ordered a replacement spray arm, and thought we had received the wrong part, because it would not screw onto the tubing that come down from the top of the dishwasher. Called and did some troubleshooting with a customer service rep and ordered two more parts (gasket and grommet) that we thought might be necessary. They did not help. Called back in frustration and finally the person on the other end found a comment in someone else's instructions about holding the delivery tube still with a putty knife while screwing on the spray arm assembly. We followed that advice, and got the spray arm on. Actual time to put the new part on once we figured out the problem: less than 10 minutes. Time spent troubleshooting: over 2 hours.

Spray arm fell off; replacement part no. P52581378
After reading the other reviews and watching the instruction video, I thought it would be a piece of cake to replace the upper spray arm. I got the old nut off fine, but had a problem getting the new part to "connect" with the hose when I tried to screw it on, because the hose kept being pushed up into the top of the dishwasher. Called my trustee friend/handyman and his assistant, and they were able to hold down the hose (pushing on it with the tip of a flat screwdriver) long enough to get the nut started on the hose and screw the part on. The new part works fine ....

The Springs on my dishwasher door broke
(1) I turned the power to the dishwasher off at the panel. (2) I unscrewed the brackets that holds the dishwasher in place. Most likely, there will be two of them, and they attach to the underside of the counter. Mark around the brackets with a pencil so you'll know exactly where to position the dishwasher. Make sure you turn them the correct direction because you can damage your countertop. (3) Take the plate off the bottom of the dishwaser then I slid the dishwasher forward about 12inches, and that exposed the hinges on the door, and the holes on the brace that supports the feet. (4) I removed the old spring and linkage that were sitting on the floor under the unit (5) I attached the spring linkage on each side of the door. (6) On each side, I connected the spring in the holes on the brace that supports the feet, and then I hooked the other end of the spring on the linkage. Make sure that your connect the long side of the spring on the linkage. (7) You may have to try the spring in different holes on the brace that supports the feet because some of them will make the door too bouncy. (8) Once you have a good location for the spring and linkage, slide the dishwasher back in place, and screw it in. Hope that helps. Stevie
