Ice Maker stopped workiing
Hardest part of repair was getting frig. away from cabinets to unplug it. Turn off water to ice maker. Phillips's screwdriver to take off the cover of the electrical connection to the icemaker tip it outward. I used flat head screwdriver to help disconnect the connection. Also, to help getting the old icemaker removed. Once removed returned New one the reverse of taking it out. Won't need screwdriver to get it back in place. Put cover back in place and put the Phillips screw back in place. Plug refrig. back in. put it back in place turn the water back on should be good to go! BE afew hrs. before ice starts to show up! Good Luck
First, remove screw from underneath side of the control. Next, again the underneath side of the control, on the right side, is an opening. Insert a small screwdriver. The idea is to move a tab to facilitate removing the control panel. You will have to push on the tab (releasing a clip) while pulling on the control panel. Once removed, unplug the cable, discard the old panel, connect the new panel, and put the new panel back in place. Secure with the screw you removed.
We didn't think the dispenser problem was related to the filter - we were wrong! It took less than two minutes, including opening the box and unwrapping the filter. I'll definitely be changing my filter more often - and buying it through PartSelect. Your ordering was so easy and delivery was unbelievably fast!
Removed clear cover from old frame with screwdriver and replaced it on new frame. I had no problems and everything looks and works good. Took about 10 minutes. Easy job.
I watched the video, and noticed that they did not even turn off the water. The replacement took less than 30 seconds once the filter was filled with water.
it was easy. Open the fridge, untwist the old filter. Open the new filter, fill with tap water and twist in place. Run water through it for a few minutes to insure it is working and filters the water.
