Dryer Belt Squealing
I followed the provided video precisely. Made the job quite easy. My only problem is I'm 6'2", 275 lbs. with bad knees. Can't go at it exactly as shown in the video because I can't squat down in front of the dryer without pain. Called in a neighbor of smaller stature for him to come from one side, and me from the other. Worked flawlessly. Video is excellent. I do recommend wearing gloves and/or long sleeve shirt. I cut up my arms a bit, but that could have been easily avoided.

High pitch squeal
Removed 2 Phillips heads on front panel. Removed 4 hex heads on back panel controller. Took off lid. Took 2 Phillips screws on inside by door out. Lifted door off. Discovered on front seal housing 2.5 of 4 seals gone. Replaced front seal bearing and lower felt seal.. A must...vacuum at all the dust! Replaced the green and white seals. Put all back together. My 17 year old dryer is like new again and quiet. Did this for $37. Front seal housing was fine so could have did for $20. Also thanks part select. I ordered at noon on Monday and had Tuesday at 5pm.

Front brearings worn and slides missing
Removed the top by removing the two screws in the top of the door. Then removed the front by removing a screw on each side. To remove the bearing I had to remove the light bulb and then pull from the top. It popped right out. Installed the new bearing, inserted the slides. Although it still looked in good shape, I replaced the felt seal since I had the front open. Reinstalled the door and the top and I was done. Easy Peasy, Saved myself over $100.
