Unit makes groaning sound while agitating and is not cleaning clothes very well. Any guidenance would be appreciated.

Hello Jeff,
Thank you for your question. When it comes to the groaning noise, our sources say it is likely the driver pulley under part PS10057144 for your model that would need to be replaced to fix the noise. As for the quality of the wash, its possibly that the drive pulley is also affecting the agitating cycle which could affect the quality of the wash, but our sources cannot confirm that. We suggest looking at the motor and the inspect each cycle closely to find any clues to what could be causing the issue. We hope this helps!
Maytag centennial washer does not agitate. All other functions work okay. Water comes in and pumps out and it will spin. It will go through all cycles, but during the wash cycle it does not agitate. I do not see any error codes. I have used normal wash and the test cycle.

Hello Max, Thank you for the question. This could indicate the Shift Actuator is defective. This part changes the transmission from agitation to spin mode. We hope this helps!
My lid locked sensor light has been flashing for a couple of weeks and I could not operate the washer. But now this morning I see it is off. Does it need a part or do you think it somehow fixed itself?

Hello Bill, thank you for contacting us. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest replacing the lid lock switch, part number PS3497627, to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
I returned to my vacation home to find the lid lock light flashing. The lid opens. The washer will not start. Tried to hold 3 seconds to cancel. Didn’t work.

Hello Cathy, thank you for reaching out. We suggest trying to reset the appliance but cutting power to the appliance for 5 mins. If this does not work, you may have a faulty lid switch. Thank you for the inquiry, good luck with the repair!
Runs well in regular mode, medium. If in light wash mode it does not spin out completely. Also lid lock and sensing lights go on and off randomly. Seems likely control board? At 300 bucks, are there instructions on replacing board?
For model number MVWC360AW0
Hi Charles, thank you for reaching out. Considering the symptoms you mentioned, the issue seems to be with the control board, part number PS4704838. To replace the control board, we would suggest following these general instructions: Remove the rear access panel by unscrewing the screws holding it. Using a putty knife, release the spring clips that secure the console to the main top. Disengage the clips and push the console forward. We would recommend taking a picture of the existing wiring connections on the control board so that you will have an idea of where each wire goes on the new control board. Remove the wires and clip them to the new control board. We hope this helps!
A detailed Service Technician Service Manual is hidden inside the machine on the front panel. It is hidden by the bleach dispenser input. It gives a list of fault codes and instructions for calibration after repair, resetting fault codes, and a manual test mode for stepping the machine through each mode on command. The Tachometer faile

It is not specifically called out in the manual. Any failure causes the lid lock light to blink which gives the appearance of a lid lock failure
The instructions that came with the part were worthless. Essentially, unplug, put in new part, plug it back in. I spent a considerable amount of time on the internet and finally found a video showing how to open the top. Unlike other models, it is held down by clamps in the back rather than clips in the front.
