Circuit breaker is tripped as soon as I rotate the timer knob in either cw or ccw direction. Dryer will not operate.

Dryer quits heating after 5 mins. Dryer exhaust vent has been replaced and cleaned inside vent in dryer. Could this be that the dryer cycling thermostat has gone bad? Please advise. Thanks

Hello D, Thank you for the question. If the Outlet Duct Assembly and the Cabinet is also cleaned from any lint build up we suggest testing the Dryer Cycling Thermostat and the Cycling Thermostat with a Multimeter. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Hi Adrienne, thank you for the great question. We have concluded that the issue is with the drive belt. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor. Over time, the drive belt can become frayed or otherwise damaged. If the drive belt is frayed or damaged, the dryer will be noisy as it turns. Inspect the drive belt for signs of wear. If the drive belt is worn, replace the drive belt, part number PS11741110. We hope this sorts out your problem!

... Read morehe front pannel to remove the front cover of the drum. Once I removed the front cover of the drum I can now remove the drum itself to access the drum support roller. I unscrew the rollers then replace it with the new once. It was an easy job. Thank you.
