one of the 2 plastic nipples on the handle broke off.
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I used 2 pliers to help me get a firm grip on the wire connections. The replacement handle has metal nipples instead of plastic and therefore I think it will hold up better.

Door Latch was Broken
I removed the screws holding the panel on and switched out the latch/switch assembly. The electrical plugs were a bit difficult to remove but the pliers helped. I did remove power from the dishwasher first. Quick and easy repair.

door latches on both dishwashers broke
although I saw simple instructions on your web site, I asked a local repairman to do the work rather than ask my husband. When he arrived, my husband watched him do it and commented afterward that it was a simple repair that he could have done himself after all! We would definitely order from you again--quick delivery of exactly what we needed! Thanks!

Dishwaser door latch handle broken so door was hard to open
First step is to verify electrical power is turned off. Open the door completely to the horizontal position and remove the outside perimeter torx screws from the inner door. Gently lift the inner door to expose the latch assembly. Use caution as the inner panel weight is required to balance the door open. Lift out the latch assembly and remove the 2 electrical connectors from the assembly taking note of the colors and location of the wires to the connector. Removing the connectors may be difficult to remove as the connectors are a tight fit. A common screwdriver may be used to assist removal using caution not to damage the connector. Re connect electrical connectors to the repacement latch assembly observing the correct color in the correct position . Place latch assembly into position on the door. Place inner door back into position and install the perimeter screws using care not to overtightighten as this will cause damage. Close door and turn power on.

Door latch broken, no longer retracts
Using a nutdriver, removed about 10-11 screws around the inner door liner. Liner pops right off exposing the latch assembly. Pliers were used to gently pry off the two wire connectors to the door latch assembly which frees up the entire "old" door latch assembly. Attach the wire connectors in the same order to the new door latch assembly and place back in the door. Attach the liner and replace the screws. That's all it takes.

door latch would not close
I actually printed someone's step by step. Opened the door and held it partially open against my knees while sitting on a chair. I took the screws off, then was able to lift the cover. I was able to remove the two wires from the switch while holding the cover partially open. I didn't need to remove the cover completely. Hardest part was taking the wires off the old switch. I was done in less then 30 mins.

Handle (button) was broken
Be careful when ordering. The Door Latch cost more than the Handle and Door Latch which is confusing. The return was easy.

First, remove the 12 Torx screws holding the the inside door panel. Second, unplug the old Handle and Door Latch. Third, plug in the new Handle and Door latch. Fourth, reposition the door panel and reinstall the 12 Torx screws. Done

The door latch was broken and hard to operate
First I removed the screws holding the inner panel to the door ( the longest part of the repair) . I then removed the two wire leads and re-connected them to the new part. Then I held the panel closed against the new part and re installed the screws. Very, Very easy. Don't call a repairman if you have a bad latch.

handle broke inside the door
Turned power off at the breaker. Opened the inside skin of the door by removing torx screws. Broken handle came right out. Released power supply clamps from old switch and removed wiring harness. Attached power cable to replacement switch. They were tricky to seat properly. Reset handle and closed door.

I took off the torx bolts, set them to side, handle unit is held in by two of the same bolts, it was a little difficult to pry the electric gizmo connectors, but with the pliers it was not bad, put the new part on, double checked I had everythiong on, then put the torx back on, whamo, done.

Handle broke from the latch assembly
I ordered the part from partselect on Saturday night and got it on Tuesday. All I needed was a screw driver. Take off all but the 2 lower screws holding the door panel on. You can then reach in and pull the latch assembly out. I used a flat screw driver to pry the wires away from the plug. After removing 1 side I plugged it into the new latch before unplugging the other side so I wouldn't get the wire on the wrong side. Then it was just a matter of slideing the new latch back in and screwing the door panel back on.
