Broken latch
Replace the latch. I am the least "handy" of anyone I know. Yard work is about the best I can do. I can even screw up painting. This was the easiest project I every accomplished.

broken door handle
very simple repair. if i had to do it again i could do it in under 5 mins. it takes longer to remove the screws then it does to replace the latch. just remove the screws ( i left the bottom ones in on the left and right side, no need to remove them). then just remove the wire clips from the old handle and attach them to the new one. put the screws back in and that's it! my repairman wanted $185.00 to do this. i came to partselect, read other posts on how to do it (ty guys) and did it myself for $21 bucks.

Door Latch broke
Easy fix, but the best of all was that I ordered the part on the evening and it was delivered by noon on the next day, I was very surprised, and it made everything easier.

To replace the part I used a power screw driver, because I had to open the inside of the door to get to the latch system, about 10 screws around the inside of the door.

I'm more confident about my dishwasher now that I know I can get any part for it this quick.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Door latch malfuction
Purchased screwdriver head to fit dishwasher door screws. With the new screw driver removed all the screws from the door. Removed the broken door latch assembly.
Checked the voltage at the door latch assembly switches and switched off the dishwasher at the fuse box.
Had to break the old switches on the broken door latch assembly to remove the wire clips one at a time. Reconnected the switches on the new replacement assembly being careful to place the wire connectors on the new assembly as they were removed from the broken assembly. Placed the switch on the inside the door panel and installed all the screws. The only problem was removing the wire connectors from the broken door latch assembly that took a little time.

Dishwasher Handle Stopped Functioning-3rd time
I removed the inside door cover. Pulled the 2 wires from the old unit and reinstalled them on the new one. As I removed the first wire, I placed it on the new unit....then removed the second one and installed it. I then replaced the latch assembly inside the door and reinstalled the inner door cover. It took longer to open the package and look at the new latch than it did to install it. I e-mailed PartSelect for the part on Christmas evening (Saturday) and had the new part delivered to my home by noon the following Tuesday.

Latch Handle Broken At Hinge
Turned off the power at circuit breaker. Used a 'star' fitting for screws on the inside of the door. Two short pieces of 1" x 2" about 8" long were need to keep the inside of the door piece seperated from the outside door. Wiring on the inside would not allow a full lift of the insides of the door. The plugs to the old unit were not easy to get off. Some effort and the help of a screw driver or pliers are needed. Putting back the two plugs is easy and the latch assembly can easily be put in place. The latch assembly is kept in place by the same screws that are used for the rest of the inner door when putting it back together. The procedure was easy. The shipment of the part needed was very fast! A great amount of money was saved! (Rose, my wife, ordered the part and I (tony)did the rest)

Broken latch caused leaking.
Opened up inside panel and removed old handle assembly. Searched Internet and found PartSelect. Did not have model number, but matched picture to that on their website. Part came in a few days and fit perfectly. Saved a bunch of money!

Good job!
