No power ..
Open lid as seen on the video instructions..flat screwdriver is fine ..just make sure u pull up the lid hard since it might be a little tough to lift....follow same instructions as the video, however only part I have to tweak is...it's hard to unplug the socket to the fuse so just use flat screwdriver to losses the connectors so that u can pull it out easily...

Dryer would not heat!
After getting on-line to your site we looked up what the problem could be after receiving the dryer from a friend to transfer from electric to gas to save money. First we thought it to be the ignitor and after receiving it so quickly it still didn't work so went to your site again and found the Flame sensor. They were both defective and now it works wonderful!!! Your site also explains what and how to repair the appliance, which my husband appreciated! We are glad you contacted us because your site did not show that we could send you and e-mail Thanking your company for the excellant service we received. Your prices can't compare to other companies either, we were amazed on the differences. When you say the next day delivery, you mean the next day!!! Thankyou and you are now in my Favorites if ever needing parts for other appliances we own.

Would not start
Easy on Kenmore Performa Dryer, order the High Limit Kit, it got here in 3 days. Unplug from wall, use flathead screwdriver to pop up the top; then look for the High Limit just behind the drum and the smaller fuse below that one on the right. Best to have smaller hexagon ratchet, and be careful not to drop them behind the drum. When you undo the high limit, use needle nose pliers to pull of the contacts from it. Then just attach as you disconnected, be sure you know which was which. Then remove the old smaller one, it can be tricky, and install new one. Then just close up the top, plug it in and it should start right up. Have replaced this every few years, easy and affordable.

No Drum Movement
I unplugged dryer and removed front of lower dryer unit. Used flashlight and inspected. I found belt and pulley were broken. Using a pair of channel locks I removed the broken pulley. (Pulley has a left hand thread, so I turned it clockwise to remove it. I checked this website and found the parts. The pulley has been redesigned and looked different. I ordered the parts and waited 2 days for the parts to arrive. I turned the pulley onto the threads counter clockwise as hard as I could by hand (don't over tighten this pulley, it will break easily) I slid the belt over the drum and around pulley (making sure the belt was lined up in the same location around drum) and lifted tensioner into place. Instructions come with belt for belt replacement. I re installed front and tested, ok.
