Unplugged appl. Removed back. Removed housing for heating element and proceeded to follow your informative video. Replaced burnt out unit with the new one & ZipZap we were in business within an hour probably less. The most time was spent on replacing the dryer vent which we found completely blocked with enough lint to blanket Rhode Island. I watched the step by step video to begin. the video is very helpful...it will tell you exactly what to do and how to do it step by step...i pulled off back panel...found thermal fuse, and replaced..reassembled and started it up...full heat...working like brand new. i probably saved at least 100.00 by not having a service man come to fix it. i also replaced parts on my whirlpool dishwasher last fall...100 % satisfied with the parts and the helpful hint,tips, and how to videos to fix appliances...i ll never call a service man again for appliance repair...very easy to replace parts..

When I got the door catch, I held it in a pair of pliers and pushed it right into place. The door would still pop open. After awhile, I realized that the door was bent, probably by a small child climbing up on it. I had to loosen some of the screws that held the door on in order to relieve the tension in the door so that it would stay closed. As long as it continues to work, I won't worry about replacing the door. It's in a rental house anyway.

Luckily I have a very mechanically minded son who immediately went to the your website, entered problem, found diagnosis. He removed the back of the dryer, found that th thermal fuse did indeed look bad. We sent for the new part, had it with in a few days, and it took him 5 minutes to have my dryer back in business!

I got my kit and when I opened it the exact parts were there!! I am a older woman and was a little worried that I could do it. I took the pliers and pulled the old latch catch out and 1-2-3 walah!! It was so unbelievably easy. If I can do it anyone can. Thank you for saving me hundreds of $s on a new dryer.

The repair was made very simple with the help of Steve and his YouTube video instruction. I really can't take credit for the repair, my teenage son did it while I held the laptop and fed him the instructions. Clothes are dry, my wife is happy, so we're all happy and it cost less then $35.00.

I watched the video on the computer and it was very easy to repair I had the dyer apart ,fixed and put together in about half hour

The repair was easy as 1-2-3 removed the cover panel to find thermal fuse and igniter kit, one screw for each part unpluged wires removed bad parts and installed the new parts, pluged in wires placed panel back and pushed on button what you know I got HEAT it was easy as 1-2-3- great job.

My husband had taken old one out before we ordered part to make sure that it was the heating element needed, and it was. ordered new one here in 2days and he put it in took him less then 30 min worked like a charm thanks your price was very fair as well.

Well first let me tell you I am 64 yrs old and female. Thank you so much for the video. That was the life saver. I followed instructions from the video and yes it was as easy as the gentleman said. The hardest part was moving the dryer out. I also ordered a thermostat and cut off thermostat. The dryer works just perfectly now. Thanks again for making it so simple for a lady like me.

We watched the video on the PARTS SELECT site and it was very helpful and I had no problem holding the flashlight for my husband!

My 11 year old son and I ordered the parts we needed. Saw the GREAT easy installation video, It even was attached to my confirmation. After the parts got here him and I easily took off the old belt and clip, installed the new ones (after watching the viedo again) and we where done. You would have thought we fixed the space shuttle or something because we both smiled all day. My son also told every one that he and his mom fixed the dryer all by ourselves. Costed me only $40 dollars for the parts. I couldn't have even called a repair man out there for that. Thanks soo much.

I suspected the heating element on the dryer, so I started shopping around for a replacement. This is before I started taking the dryer apart. I happened to run across PartSelect and they had videos to show me exactly what to repair for my exact model and particular problem. It was an easy task. Unplug the dryer, take the back panel off (a few 1/4" metal screws), take a few wires off the terminals, unscrew 2 more 1/4" screws, pull the heating element out, take off a terminal and place it on the new heating element, and do the reverse for installation. It can be done in the same amount of time it took to read this passage. Also, if you are curious, you can test the resistance on the coil of the old heating element to see if you have continuity. I found the burnt broken part pretty quick. This part can wear over time, and a brand new heating element makes the dryer work like brand new. Great for a $50 fix. Also, I ordered the part Wednesday night and when I got home from work on Friday, the part was waiting for me. Very quick processing and shipping.

Had a hard time at first trying to figure out how to place the pulley wheel that you place the belt around, it holds it in place so to speak, was getting very frustrated came upstairs went on line to your web site and lo & behold there was a video on how to do it, I watched that video (thanks Steve) and went back down cellar and had the belt on in less than 5 mins and everything is working fine.
