Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
Baking element was falling apart and not heating up.
I had no instructions, so I started by removing the two screws that seemed to hold the element together. I pulled the element forward and realized I had to seperate the element from the wires. It was an old unit so it took a strong tug but it did come apart. I was hoping at this point I was doing the right thing...I reconnected the new element , pushed it back in and replaced the screws. I was very impressed with myself! The new element heated up in no time. Yeah me! Thank you "Part Select" for making it possible.
Turned off the breaker to the stove. Removed the two screws holding the element in place. Pulled off the wire terminals, removed old element. Reconnected the two wires, slid new element into place, reinserted the two holding screws, turned back on breaker. 5 minutes.
It was so easy. I removed the baking racks. Then I unscrewed two Philips head screws that held the rack in place. Then I pulled the two connections apart from the wiring. Plugged the new element into the wiring. It was as simple as sliding it in and out, replaced the screws, and within minutes I was back to baking again.

Bake element burned out the week before Thanksgiving!
I got online, and "Googled" bake element and Whirlpool (model #), and selected PartSelect by chance. The website had a diagram of my oven with parts and it was easy to select the right part. I paid extra to have it shipped overnight and it arrived the next day. I removed two screws, disconnected the old element, and replaced it with the new element. It worked!! I think I saved a lot of money by doing the repair myself. (I am a 66 yearl old woman and will choose PartSelect by choice for future appliance repairs.)
The repair was easy. I turned off the power to the oven at he curcuit breaker. Using a phillips screwdriver, I removed the 2 screws that held on the old heating element. One screw came off easily. The other screw required a little WD-40 and alot of force, but I was able to get it off. I then removed the 2 wires from the terminals on the old element. Again, it required a little force and wiggling of the contact.
Reversing the process, I slid the contacts onto the terminals of the new heating element. Then, I screwed the backplate of the new heating element in place at the back of the oven with the 2 screws I had previously removed. I then restored power at the circuit breaker. The whole job took less then 10 minutes.

i received the part via fed-x i opened the box uninstalled the old part installed the new part turned it on the element got red hot and it works just fine.
Turned off electric to oven by shutting circuit breaker.Opened oven door, took out baking racks,loosened bolts from rear of oven holding element and plate . Disengaged element with plate from wires at rear of oven. Attached new element to clips on wires, rescrewed element plate back to rear wall. replaced racks and turned on circuit breaker. DONE! Thanks for the quick service ordered one day, next day delivery, never missed a meal or dessert.
1) Turn off the power at the circuit panel! 2) Remove 2 screws at the back of the bake element. 3) Gently pull the element out about 6 inches. 4) "Unplug" two wires from the back of the element. 5) Do the same in reverse to put the new element back in. 6) Turn the power back on. 7) Done!

Shut off circuit breaker to stove. Removed oven racks from oven. Removed two phillips head screws located at the base of the bake element at the back of the oven. Gently pull the element toward the front of the oven until the wiring connected to the element by spade connections can be reached. I used a pair of pliers to help separate the element from the wiring. Removed disfunctional element from oven. Sweep out the bottom of the stove with a dustpan & brush. Lay the new replacement element on the bottom of the oven. Connect element to wiring via spade connectors. Gently feed the wires back thru the holes until the the tips of the element follow thru the wire holes until the base of the element is flat against the back of the oven. Screw in screws thru the base to the back of oven - tighten tight. Reset cir brkr. Test oven.
