Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
Wings which hold switch broke off.
Turn off power, removed wires from switch, unscrewd lock nuts. Did the reverse to put the new switch with the exception of the the power which should always be turned off first. Took less than 5 min. to install. Wife happy!! which makes me happy.
Extremely easy. First, I turned powr off to appliance at electric panel (don't trust switches). Next, I removed the 2 screws that held the panel cover, removed the dials, and removed 2 screws at each one (total eight) - this requrid a hex screw driver bit, which I had in my handy set. I proceeded to loosen the panel, and disconnect the wires attached to the old switch (this may be tricky - mine came off easy, but did require care as to not to strip the wire from the clamp). Once the old switch was removed and the plastic housing unscrewed, I attached the new fan assembly, and connected the wires, and reinstalled everything back in the same order. (This is a good time to clean all the grease and dirt that has collected thru the years-before you put everything back). Turned the power back on, and everything worked like before. I figured I saved about 4 hours worth of labor (4x$50=$200 / minimum) plus any inflated part price I would have paid for a $20 part from PartSelect! It felt good!
Turn off the gas supply and unplug the electric supply. Remove the top grates and the burner cartridges. Remove 12 screws around the top cover and loosen the two screws for the fan switch. Pull the fan switch up and out of the way, remove the top cover. With a marking pen, label the four igniter switches and pull them off the gas valves. From underneath, remove the gas line from the pressure regulator, then remove the regulator from the pipe coming from the circular manifold. With a 3/16 socket (1/4 inch drive) or a 3/16 nut driver, remove the four screws that hold the manifold. Then from the top pull the manifold up and out. On the bottom, remove the screw (1/4 inch socket or nut driver) and remove the old gas valve. That's it. Now just put it all back together in reverse order. I used pipe joint compound on the pipe threads. Check for leaks with a soapy water solution. If I had to do this again, it would only take me half the time. I wasn't sure how everything came apart the first time..
This cartridge fits my JennAir Downdraft Slide In Rage, part No. JDS9865BDP. The burner cartridge replaces a downdraft cooking grill module that comes with the original stove/Oven. The spark quit on the cartridge side. I re-inserted the original cooking grill, and it lit fine. There are two components to look at. The sparker, and the burner igniter (one per each burner). Since both failed to light, I ordered the spark controller. PartSelect has a video on how to test for failure, but I couldn't find that again. Two screws mount the controller, two wires re-connected. and works perfect.
Watched u tube video as supplied and followed instructions. Had trouble getting burners off so cleaned around edge of burners with fine bladed knife as suggested by other forum user and used oil filter type wrench to remove burner. There are three bumps on burner that hold it in place so need to turn anti clockwise to remove.
Flip the breaker. Lift off the fan center grate. Remove two screws located on back of the burner dials housing. Lift the back of the housing, then pull this gently away from the front to unhook the front. Turn this over, locate the switch. Pull the three electrical plug connections from the switch plastic housing, remembering their locations. Back off the two nuts holding the switch to the underneath side of the dials housing. Place the new one in place, put it all back together.

Still not fixed. Waited about a year for the part to arrive, due to "COVID supply chain issue". Part finally arrived and was missing a sub component (ironically the worn out part). Now awaiting a reorder confirmation that this is being sent along with a return mailing label. The re-order required me to obtain a better picture of the part from your competitor's web site, to prove the part sent was defective as your site was inadequate. My first call on this issue failed because of an absence of the better picture. The 2nd call to customer service was very understanding and professional but I have yet to receive any confirmation on this re-order in the past 5 days.
I replace the igniter first that didn’t work so I had to order the wiring and then I replaced that there was a cover that I took off with a screwdriver took the wiring off and put the new wiring in it it was that easy.
Remove the 2 burner assembly by gently lifting the rear burner and pull towards the back of the stove and the entire 2 burner assembly will slide out. Turn assembly up side down, remove all the screw on the cover with a philip screwdriver and remove cover. Once opened, you will see the ignighter, remove the 2 screws holding it in place, remove and replace the ignighter and secure with two screws. Follow the 2 lead wires and remove and replace with the new wires, simply pull off old and push on new wires. Replace the cover and all the screws, slide it back onto the stove and you will have ignition! Simple install, takes about 20-30 minures. If both burners are out, this is probably the problem. If only 1 burner is out, you probably need to replace the stove burner spark.
