JGBP90MEB6BC General Electric Range - Instructions

I opened cook top without disassemble cook top and broke the left front tube.
After I received left front tube and disassemble cook top to install and found right front tube also not good condition.
I ordered right front tube and installed both tube. I recommend order both front tubes to save shipping.
The tubes were easy to install but little bit hard to remove old Electrode for disassemble cook top and to line up cook top and holder orifice screw hole for assemble.

I opened oven and pushed oven rack inside.

I removed the bottom drawer, oven racks and bottom cover inside over, removed the screw at the front end of the burner. Unplugged the wire connector for the igniter. Removed the two retaining screws from the burner tube, removed from oven. Removed mounting screws from igniter to use on the new tube and igniter. Wire terminal did not match. Cut wire connector from old igniter, cut wire connector from new igniter. install old connector on new igniter with wire nuts.Install burner tube in oven. Connect igniter connector together. Reinstall over cover and racks. install bottom drawer. Turn on oven. Yah. It works. Their was a hold burned in the old burner tube causing the popping noise and finely not operating. Good to go. Rremoved the back cover, changed the wires from one ignighter to the other, removed the old ignighter, and snapped in the new one, put four screws back on cover, and pushed stove back into place, turned on all burners several times to make shure eveything worked!!!

The parts were easy to locate on the website, reasonably priced, and arrived in two days. The installation was simple and the parts fit exactly as they should.

When I got the part I removed the tin cover (two screws)on the back of the range. I removed the sensor by removing the two screws inside the oven and pulled out the sensor. taking the instructions advise, I checked the sensor with my ohm meter and although it read 1.1 ohms as compared with the recommended 1.09 ohms at room temperature in the instructions, went ahead and changed the unit. The connector did not fit my particular model so I spliced the wiring and using the two included wire nuts made the connection. I reinstalled the sensor, reattached the gas line, plugged it in and tried the oven before I put it back in place. The oven works great now and it was super easy.

ground off rear of knob 1/4" . Put on new knob and works fine. No longer have detents but can still read knob.

I ordered the oven rack on a Tuesday and received it the very next day - was wowed at the service.

I located the spark module at back of top panel and I switched the wires of one of the other burners to the burner that wasn't lighting. By doing that I found that part of the module wasn't operating properly.

My husband did the repair so it was very easy for me, as well as for him, he found the bad part from your parts diagram which was a great help, he changed it out in no time and so we were both very Happy. Thank you for your help. Nancy & David

just slipped it in

Simple to correct 1. lift off grate 2. lift off burner cover 3. lift off old burner. 4. replace burner, cover and grate. took 10 seconds. burner works perfect
