Only one and a half burners worked.
I just had to lift the top of the stove. Then pull the old burners out and put the new ones. It took longer to ignite the flame than replace the burner. Works great !!!

The numbers had worn off
I didn't have a part number or a model number, so I went on line and googled 'General Electric thermostat knob', and the first selection was PartSelect. It was easy, fast and most of all, a lot less expensive than I had found at the local hardware stores, even after shipping. The part was exactly what I needed. PartSelect's site is very user friendly and easy to get through. From now on, I'll go to PartSelect for any parts I need for my appliances.

The knob that turns on the gas fire broke so I ordered a new one.
I really didn't have a clue as to where to get one so I just went without a knob not using the burner for about a year. Then I decided to call a handyman. He said the part would cost $20 and labor would be $50. I said forget it. I immediately got on my iPad and researched. I found the exact part! It came in less than 30 hours of ordering it. Then I opened the plastic bag with the knob in it, and it fit exactly right into place. And Voila! I could finally use that burner again. It was so easy to Install, no,tools necessary. It fit right into place ! I should have done that earlier had I known it would be so easy!

Worn off numbers on Oven thermostat knob
I had to first adjust the thermostat knob to fit my stove. It was the right one but had to loosen the screws on the back and adjust the knob to be in the off position. This took a few minutes. Just snapped the knob back in place and put it on the range. Works great.
