Freezer was not defrosting!
Shut off refrigerator; unplugged. Removed all contents of freezer. Then detached freezer drawer. Four screws that hold on back panel were removed; could then carefully remove right side; cut out defrost temp sensor and replaced with new unit. Used pressure caps to combine wires; filled caps with epoxy. It was difficult to work behind the back panel without complete removal (which would have been difficult = would have had to remove ice maker and drawer guides) but it can be done. Put all back together; it works fine. Thanks PartSelect!

Icemaker making icebergs, then nothing.
The icemaker in my Maytag refrigerator was having a few problems. First, a small leak developed in the ice cube tray, allowing water to drip into the ice bucket. This of course caused the ice to become one solid mass, totally inappropriate for a gin and tonic. After a couple of months of this, it stopped working altogether. On to the internet I went, and discovered how easy this repair actually was. One nut to remove, one to put it back in. The installation video was very helpful. I did have a concern at first because the icemaker did not start making ice rights away. I thought it might be a defective unit. It took about 12 hours to get the first batch and it has been happily cranking out the ice since! Ed in upstate New York.

Icemaker not making ice.
Followed the video as a guideline. It was not exactly as portrayed. My husband and I, being long time do it yourselfer's, were able to get around the differences. There were screws, instead of tabs as pictured in the video, plus had to remove 4 screws instead of one to loosen the old icemaker. After 2 days the icemaker is pumping out loads of ice.

Light switch in the refrigerator was faulty from the first day we installed the fridge.
I had ordered some other parts for something entirely different off your website and service was great. So after almost ten years of a dark refrigerator, because of a defective switch, I decided to see if you had the part to fix it... You did and the part got here in 3 days. I had a working light switch and all the light in the world where my husband needed it most (in the fridge). It took me at the most ten minutes to replace the part. All is well now and I have a happy husband who can find the leftovers just fine. Thanks for your great service!

Change Ice Maker/ Water Fill Cup
The ice maker change out was easy. The problem was the part came with a different filler cup but the one needed was supplied. Changing to the other cup required taking the ice maker apart and installing the other filler cup. Go to the parts list and find the filler cup. Use instructions found there to change to other cup and then install your ice maker.

Drawer guides were broken
Drawer guides on the bottom of the crisper frame could not be glued back into place. The replacement frame arrived in 1 day. Be gentle removing crisper vent shutters, trim, and the metal reinforcement channel from the old frame! Re-install them on the new frame then hang the assembly in the fridge. Slide the drawers and glass back into place. I added a dab of clear silicone grease (bulb and socket lube)on each drawer slide.
