ice maker not making ice
I watched the video which gave me confidence that I could do the repair which I did in very little time. One thing to emphasize though: When you remove the vertical wire connector from the back of the freezer compartment, remember which color wire is on the top. I needed to watch the repair video a second time to be able to make that determination. Probably the repair video should have mentioned keeping track of that connector regarding the re-connection of it because it could also connect when turned 180 degrees.

Ice Maker wouldn't make Ice
I watched a youtube video and completed the repair in less than an hour from start to finish and save myself a service charge. It was fairly easy, the only problem was that it was a bottom freezer and getting to the ice maker was harder than if it was a side by side or top freezer.

Ice maker did not work any more.
I unplugged the fridge. Then I removed the ice bucket. Then I removed the ice maker using a 3/4 socket to separate the connections and then used a small screwdriver to separate whatever connections were left. Then I installed the new ice maker and checked its level. Everything now works fine.

Plastic Pin on end cap which holds pantry lid broke
This is the second time I have had to replace the right side pantry cap, and have replaced the left side once. The pins on the end caps are flimsy plastic and it doesn't take much for them to break off. That said, the part arrived two days after I ordered it. A 1/4" nutdriver is all you need to replace it. Take the storage bins above the pantry out and the glass cover and support bars over the pantry out. There are two or three 1/4" bolts holding the pantry end cap in place. The right side pantry cap is connected to a sliding mechanism to open the air/temperature control opening on the the interior back wall of the refrigerator. This long piece on the back has a small tab that inserts in a slot at the left side. After removing the bolts, remove the pantry cap and the air control mechanism as one piece. Use the nutdriver to remove the metal drawer slides from the broken cap and transfer to the new cap. Carefully work the plastic sliding mechanism from the backside of the end cap to remove it and the temperature control lever from the front of the end cap. A little patience, prying and turning of the pieces to remove them is required. Transfer to the new end cap in the reverse manner. Reinsert temperature control into slot at back and bolt the end cap back into place.

no ice ,dead ice maker
turned off freezer unplugged ice maker ,unscrewed 3 screws, removed ice maker, wiring harness and wire that goes up and down to control ice maker. installed all in reverse put back in and turned on waited and waited no ice ,theres a little control valve that let's the water in as well that was shot as well had to go get one at a local shop fairly interchangable just pull the other out and take with you,or just order one with your ice maker if you have the fridge out you might as well change it as it's just as old as the ice maker as well .everything pumping well, like never before, tons of ice all the time also put in filter on the water line as well really good tasteing ice now.

Crisper frame replaced
I order a bare crisper frame, no glass, no slider controls. The old frame lifted out easily. I did not realize the glass top is not glued in, because food drippings had it somewhat stuck in place. But only somewhat - I almost dropped the glass when I turned the frame over. Once the glass was out, I removed the humidity sliders by gently lifting one end so I could slide them to a place where they lifted off. (Look for the notch-outs.) Then I put the parts in the new frame and put it back in the frig.
