Water gushed from the main conduit. Dishwasher is not 2 years old.
First the parts took forever to get here and then the new main conduit nut was defective just as the original from the factory was. It would not thread correctly and had to be wet then forced by hand until the skin ripped off my fingertips.

Dishwater door would not open because handle was broken
The repair could not have been easier. I looked up the model and found a diagram showing all of the parts for the dishwasher. Other people had commented on similar problems, so it made sense that I needed to order a handle/latch assembly. I order it and selected standard shipping. The part arrived the next day in the mail. It took only a few minutes to install the part. I know nothing about dishwasher, but this website made into a professional repair tech!

My dishwasher filters were clogged by calcium scale
I just lifted out the old parts from the bottom of the dishwasher and replaced them with the new ones which seated securely with no problem. The extreme amount of calcium carbonate in the water in Barbados settles on anything that gets wet. We clean the parts in the dishwasher, tea kettle and any other device that gets hot water, about every six months but eventually the boiler scale clogs the works and, while I can boil the parts in vinegar to clean them, the new replacements are much better and more convenient.

Upper rack of dishwasher was not cleaning well.
We noticed spotting and just poor cleaning performance in the dw. It was particularly bad on the top rack. After removing the racks, it was clear that the gasket on the water fitting in the back of the dw-upper was about half gone. No tools were necessary. I just unscrewed the ring nut-gasket and replaced it with the new one. Finger-tight. If the old nut was stuck, a pair of pliers would have helped.

Broken latch
I found a few how to videos to describe how to replace the latch since nothing was listed here. First - turn off the power to the dishwasher from the fuse box. Open the dishwasher and unscrew the door until the front piece and the control panel come off (I think there were about 10 screws- some are different sizes, just take note what goes where). Then you'll need to disconnect the 4 wires from the broken latch, before you do this either label the actual wires with where they go or take a picture so you know exactly how to put it back together - there is very little information online to guide you if you forget and if you get it wrong the dishwasher won't work, which I learned the hard way. Unscrew the broken latch, and replace with the new latch. Reconnect the wires following your guide, and screw back on the door. Voila!
