One of the pan slide tracks got stuck during insertion
I ordered two Whirlpool pan slide tracks, which are identical for the right and left sides. The first track popped right in, just like in the installation video, but the other one got stuck during insertion. I noticed that all three plastic tabs of the track were caught on the edges of their respective metal slots, and the plastic was being shredded by the metal when I pushed harder trying to insert the track. I took a kitchen knife and shaved off small slivers of plastic from the areas of the tabs that were catching. After that, the slide could be inserted easily.

Ice dispensor door would not close, dripped water, frosted inside freezer
Google refrigerator Model #, found your site, saw parts diagram right away, clicked on part 'Ice Door Kit', noticed your video on how to do repair yourself, showed it to my husband, ordered part, and it arrived the next day. That was the hardest part of the whole repair. I have been without use of the ice dispenser for about 9 months - took 20 minutes from opening box to getting ice again and saved myself a whole lot of money. I am one happy camper!!!

Refrigerator Freezer Ice Door Broken
Job went as per your terrific video. Except that when attempting to retrieve the old heater element the glue on the old door was no long pliable. I had to literally tear the old foam apart to get at the heater element and almost damaged it. Not to worry. It worked out well and all is great. Thanks for the very instructive video.

Lower Door Closing Cams Worn down
Openned both doors and removed lower grille. Closed doors and placed a piece of wood underneath door. The piece of wood slightly taller so that it supports and lifts the door while I worked. Working at the bottom of the door removed both upper and lower plastic cams and replaced with new ones. Be sure to tighten the single screw that holds down the plastic cam; if you leave them loose they will split/crack because they will move as you operate the door.

Video made troubleshooting problem easy. I ordered the parts and 5 days later I had them. 10 minutes later they were installed and that night I had ice. Trouble shot the ice maker using the read out codes. Code indicated a faulty ice maker. Ordered a new Ice maker and replaced the faulty ice maker. Only problem is the water funnel one the new ice maker is taller. This required bending the water fill tube to slide the new unit in place.

Refigerator suddenly started to trip the breaker.
Unplugged refrigerator and removed back cover to expose the compressor and timer/relay assembly. I removed a retainer clip with needle nose pliers, unplugged and removed harness to relay followed by removing the timer/relay assembly together from the compressor. I used the screw driver to pry off very gently. Once removed, the new timer/relay was installed followed by the harness, retainer clip and back cover. The refrigerator was plugged in and my Gladiator man cave fridge was brought back to life.

Refrigerator door was not closing "automatically", over time the plastic cams had worn out.
Easy fix. Used this a teaching opportunity for my 18 yr old son and had him do all the work. The cams have like little inclines that as the meet close the door with like a over center effect. Empty the door. Just undo the top plate 5/16 screws and lift door off. On bottom of door change the 1 piece lower door closing cam and on the bottom post plate change the door cam. add a little grease and reverse the process to install. later in life my son will know how to make this repair.....easy to do folks.

Refrigerator not cold, Freezer not freezing; running for about 5-10 seconds, then shutting off.
Watched video instruction. Looked at online diagram. Removed back cover. Replaced two parts purchased from Partselect.com. Great website, fast service, excellent price! Almost purchased a new refrigerator, but decided to try this first! Happily....working perfectly and spent less than $100 (and saved $1,500 by not purchasing a new refrigerator)!
