Replacing all springs. Able to replace 2 short springs and front spring. Can't get to ones in back of washer tub. Unable to use strenght in arms to remove old springs. Help videos were great. Saved money by doing repairs myself.
The water would not completely drain and go to spin cycle and noisy while trying to drain.
I ordered pump so I would have it on hand. I didn’t want the washer in pieces waiting on parts. New pump came in 2-3 days with standard shipping. Found a video online for this model. Removed top. Removed control panel and set on front edge of frame. Removed door seal spring. Removed front panel and separated seal from drum. Pump located at bottom left. Removed pump screws. Got a shallow pan from kitchen to catch water. Removed hoses and trap. Not much water. Took trap boot and pump to sink for cleaning and found a bra wire had made it past the screen and was rubbing on pump impeller. That was the noise. Cleaned and reinstalled old pump. Has been running for 2 months without a problem. Easily returned the new pump! Highly recommend this company and site. Will come here for my repair jobs first. Hope I remembered all the steps correctly since it has been over 2 months.
Washer pumps and drains but does not agitate or spin.
Purchased both the belt and idler pulley. Bought the idler pulley "to have it if it were needed" since it was only a $15 part.
Watched two videos provided on PartSelect for our model number with our symptoms. Both showed an easy access of idler pulley at the front of the washer. My emailed invoice also contained links to the video for each part.
Getting the panels off went exactly like the video. However, the idler pulley was nearly on the back side of the tub assembly/transmission and NOT easily accessed as shown in the video.
I replaced the belt and ran the washer without replacing the idler pulley. Since it performed very well agitated/spun I elected to avoid the daunting looking task of idler pulley replacement. Hung it up for "just in case" future use....again not hard to do at only $15.
Just like the video said in the parts menu remove front of washer remove 2 screws remove 2 hose clamps replace pump replace 2 screws replace hoses and clamps and front door to washer done
This repair took only about 15 seconds to complete. It just involved pushing the new knob on the selector. The provided video should give you the confidence to complete this task.. I invested $11.00 for the part. I would hate to see the cost to have a repairman come and fix this. Worth every penny
old knob was broken so didn't stay on and work so had to use pleris to adjust temperatures when needed but now just put new knob on and we are in buisness and like new again!!! So glad I found your company and had the knob i needed and fast service!! thanks :)
Knobs broke off for end of signal and start, needed 2 new knobs
Let me start by saying, I ordered these 2 knobs for my dryer and they came faster than lightning. I was so glad to know that I could order something and have it within 48hours. KUDOS! Onto the actual item, I got the 2 knobs and since it was just the knobs that broke off and not the mechanism itself, I just took the knobs out of the package and put them on the mechanism by pushing on and VIOLA! , I was done! If I ever need anymore parts for any of my other appliances I will sure use Parts Select and I will sure tell my friends about you guys too!! Good Prices.. Fast Shipping.. gotta love it!
just slid the new knob and that was it.I have say about PartSelect.com , it was very easy to place order and next day i rec'd the part. excellent service.
went to turn the app on and knob broke off and went into the machine
This is a case of not knowing the proper tool to do the job. I went to turn on the machine and the knob broke( common on this machine). The stub of the knob fell into the machine. Thought that the access plate was put on with screws. I saw that the hole was similar to an allen hole. I couldn't get the screws out so called a repairman. He spent 10 minutes, charged me $65 and then told me that most newer appliances need a tool called a robertsons screw driver to get the screws out without stripping them. I felt like a dope, a $4 tool could have saved me $59. A word to the wise, learn what tools do the job and this won't happen to you. JT
