Holes in middle silverware basket
Unsnapped the old middle basket, but then still having difficulty getting one side of the old basket to fit in the grooves on the new middle basket. Have tried it several ways, but still just does not seem to be the right fit on that one side.
Pulled original wheels and studs off. The snapped the new on to the lower rack. Swapped out the silverware basket. It was so easy women and children could do it! ;)
Definately purchase all the wheels (8) as they are smaller than original wheels. Buy the wheel with attached stud. Pull off old wheels and pop these on!
The wheels on our bottom tray to our dishwasher had fallen off from a lot of use here in our office. When the wheels arrived, I just simply snapped them back on. A few had to be snapped on tight, but there were no tools necessary. Overall, a very easy fix.
Upper spray arm jammed on a pan and broke when we tried to remove the jam
Popped the end caps off the rails for the upper basket. Removed the upper basket, turned it over, the upper spray arm with the gasket just fits over and is a 1/4 turn lock fitting, slid the basket back in, reinstalled the end caps, ready to go. So easy even I did it, and we didnt need to buy a new dishwasher when I finished.
Removed all wheels, then removed and installed new studs which were designed better than the origional and re-installed. Bottom rack now slides in and out much better.
The wheels were falling off from the bottom rack of my dishwasher.
I ordered 8 wheels, but I really needed just 4.( I am preventing for the future) It was so very simple to place my order and they were delivered in no time. I simply took off the old one, looked at how they were affixed and put the new ones the same way. Less than 2 minutes to do the entire job. I am a "Handy woman".
Turn off power at electrical panel. Turn off water supply. Disconnect drain hose. Remove dishwasher from cabinet. The drain pump is located under the dishwasher on the front left side. It is connected to the frame with two bolts. Remove these bolts and disconnect the clamps securing two hoses. There were two wires supplying the electrical power to the motor. The replacement drain pump was a factory original and matched exactly to the one I replaced . Right product at the right price. Very Satisfied .
I'm 76 years old but still like to repair things as long as I am able to.luckily I had the installation instructions for my washer and they were very well written.I first turned off the circuit breaker to the machine, since it was hard wired, some use a plug in a socket.I then turned off the water leading to the washer. I disconnected the water line at the washer and disconnected the wiring. I then pulled the machine out from underneath the cabinet.the drain pump was located on the side towards the back. You have to disconnect the drain hose before you could pull the washer the rest of the way out to lie it on it's back.Once it is lying down it is very easy to remove the drain pump and replace it with the new one. The job shouldn't take more than an hour, however I'm not as agile as I use to be so it took me a bit longer, what with coffee break and rest in between steps. I did get the job done and the washer is working fine.the most difficult part was putting it back under the counter, you have to inch it in and keep feeding the water line and electric cable underneath it. All in all it was a good fix and it kept me away from my IPAD for a while.haha!
