Not cooling and making a clicking noise every 2-3 minutes
Looked up issue on the internet and found that other folks had the same problem and said it was probably the compressor starter. This is actually two parts, a capacitor and a capacitor relay. Wasn't sure which was causing the problem so made sure I ordered the part number which inscluded both. One plugs into the other. Easy enough to just unplug the parts from the side of the compressor. Plugged in the new parts and compressor kicked on. Evrything working as normal. No one locally had parts in stock so overnighted from Partselect.

Pried out the old switch with small screwdriver, popped in the new one and tah-dah!! ..the light came on. While I was at it, I cleaned out the freezer :). I cannot begin to imagine what a repairman would have charged for this.

Upper frige getting warmer and evaporater freezing up, replaced heater element, thermister, and then replaced control board and is working great. was not going into defrost mode due to bad board. I could put in to manual defrost mode needed to replace the board.
first unplug unit, remove clear light cover it snaps out. there are 2 slots on either side of the light housing stick the screw driver in the slot and push the tab and pull down this will unlatch the control board housing, remove the board socket plugs, and the board from the frame, on the new board you will have to snap the PC board at the pre indented line. replace in reverse and follow instruction to program the code.

Broken light switch
Used the butter knife to pry the old switch out, it is a snap in switch so there is a small keeper on the bottom that needs to be pushed in to pop the switch out. Un hooked wires by pulling them off of the terminals (won't shock you) and put them on the new switch and popped it in

Refrigerator was not cold.
Refrigerator was not cold.

I had this problem before and it was the control vale in the back of the refrigerator. I ordered it and change that out in 5 minutes. That wasn’t the problem. I had the repairman come over and within 5 minutes he told me what the problem was. He showed me where the control board was. He then walked me through the removal process.

First remove the light cover on the Freezer & Refrigerator in front where the light button is located. Pull down on the front of the light cover. It pops out.

Second, in the front of the freezer & refrigerator temp control panel put your fingertips in front of the panel and pull down it’s hard to get the pins to release but the front pins will release, then pull down a little to allow the back hooks to release. (You can use a small common screwdriver if you can’t get it with your fingertips).

Next, once the panel is removed then disconnect the wiring harness. Then bring the panel to the counter, this is where you remove the circuit card and replace it. There are 4 hooks that hold the circuit board in place. Use a small common screwdriver to push the hooks away from the board. The new board comes as one piece. The board is perforated to allow you to snap the board. Directions come with the board and how to snap it. You will need to pay attention on how you removed the board. You will need to put the new board in the same way it came out.

Once the board is re-installed and lock into position reverse the process and install the control panel back into position.

Next is the programing of the board. Follow the directions that come with the control board and you will be back in business

This task took about 15 minutes to remove & replace and to program.

broken spring in the light switch in refer
Initially thought I could repair switch, but then discovered spring was broken. Ordered the new switch (Parts Select is very efficient - received switch in 3 days). Was encouraged by the posts regarding the switch installation. I had some difficulty removing the old switch. Used a pocket knife to ease the switch out of the hole to reveal the clip/spring. After noting the clip/spring location I used a small flat-blade screwdriver to release the clip. Even though I released the "molded" clip/spring(be sure to note where the spring is on the new switch and release it on the switch it was tight in the hole and had to use pliers to carefully remove the old switch. After removing the old switch, used pliers to gently remove the wire leads. Then install the leads on the new switch. Note the orientation for replacing the switch and gently feed the connecting wires into the hole so they won't kink or prevent the switch from entering the hole. Install the switch noting the clip/spring location and the orientation of the lever that the door closes on to turn off the light. Be sure to put it in without binding at an angle. Thanks to Parts Select for this service! I'll definitely be back.
