Timer knob fell off my dryer
The timer knob fell off my dryer about a month ago. I could see that the little post holder thingy on the inside was cracked. I tried duct taping it. Didn't work. So I was using pliers to turn on the dryer as I did not have time to look up a repair person and did not want to wait around all day for one to show up in the "four-hour window." Then it dawned on me - I should try to find the part on the internet. I typed into my browser "Frigidaire Dryer parts." And I went to the first site that popped up…www.Partselect.com.

The site showed me where to locate the model number on my dryer. I typed in the number and then selected the timer knob as the part I needed. There was a brief video showing me how to install the part. Took less than 5 minutes to place my order - $30 with shipping. That was Sunday at 10 p.m.- it arrived Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

I followed the installation directions and had my dryer back up and running within 30 seconds.

Clothes got stuck between drum and seal destroying clothes.
This repair was very easy and straight forward. I removed the front of the Dryer, following the video instruction on PartSelect website.Removed the old upper Drum glide, scraped the fron clean from any residues, applied 2 strings of glue and applied the new Drum Glide and holding it for a couple of minutes only to dry. The lower Drum seal was not too bad so I only cut of the worn out area, cut a strip of the new drum seal to fit perfectly and applied the new seal after scraping the door clean from residue. After about 5 minutes, I reassembled the Dryer and it worked like a charm. Thanks Part Select for the supplied instructions. Very Very easy and it saved me from purchasing a new Dryer.

Dryer was squeaking loudly.
followed the video instructions....easy as pie. Glad i bought the belt too....the belt on my dryer was very worn. Changed the bearing with the kit. Very easy to do. The whole job was done in an hour and a half....back together and running without the squeak. Glad i repaired instead of buying a new dryer. Next time i have a problem with an appliance, i will be checking PartSelect first.

Dryer Squeaking
Found instructions on "UTube"some of the screws were in a different position but you can see them. While you have the dryer apart it's a great time to clean it and also as long as you've gone this far replace the belt,it's probably time.
