Broken door latch. Door wouldn't stay close and dishwasher would not turn on.
I went on Youtube to see what needed to be done to fix the problem and it seemed simple. I ordered the part and followed the instructions from Youtube: Turned of the electric to the dishwasher, removed a few screws to take the top panel off, a few more screws to remove the broken part. Slipped on the new part and screwed it in. Replaced the top front panel and screwed it on. DONE! It was so easy! Saved a lot of money. I am a Grandma 9 times and a Great-Grandma 2 times. If I can do it, you can too!

Dishwasher would not drain.
The actual pump replacement was simple. The problem I had was getting the water drained because of the way the unit was installed, drain hose went through the floor before going back up into the sink drain. Anyway, the repair of the unit was simple just all the other stuff was a pain.

loud noise on draining ' grinding noise ' pump was going bad
remove front lower cover , and place a towel under drain pump to catch water , shut breaker off to kill power , then with a right angled phillps screw drive you can remove pump screws and slide pump out after hoses have been removed also you need to remove 2 of the screws holding the top of the pump mount and the 3 rd leave lose pump comes out and you reverse the steps ' dishwasher ' does not have to be pulled out and turned on its back , a short phillps screw driver is needed and a right angle phillips also .

Water Leak in Dishwasher Drain Line
I woke up on Christmas Day to water pooling under the kitchen sink (I guess I made the naughty list last year). Upon inspection, I could see that the water connections for the faucet were damp. Since I had all the parts, I replaced the faucet and service lines. Once complete, there were no leaks so I turned on the dishwasher to double check for leaks in those lines. It was all dry when the dishwasher finished but the next morning, more water under the sink.
I proceeded to replace the water line to the dishwasher and ran it through another wash cycle. Still leaking.
I found PartsSelect online and order a new drain line for the dishwasher. To my amazement, FedEx dropped off my order the next morning........yes, the next morning.
It took five minutes to remove the old drain line and install the new one (just a worm clamp at each end). It would have been faster than that but I don't get up and down as fast as I use to.

I took out the old dishwasher rack, slid in the new one. Nothing else was done and my spouse thought I had built her the Taj Mahal. Many repairs are nothing but cosmetic; the hard part is finding the model number and getting it ordered.
