Continuous water filling Ice maker
First Shut off Water supply from wall/valve. Turned off Ice maker switch interior freezer compartment. Removed power cord from wall plug, important for safety due to close proximity of cooling fan to valve, and resets electrical cycle to new valve to start water flow to ice maker once replaced. Removed lower back cardboard access to frig with nut driver, cleaned all (dust-bunnies)from coils, drip pan and all areas under frig with shop vac. Remove 2 screws (same size nut as cardboard back) to remove valve bracket from mount. This model frig had push release connectors so was even easier than expected, push collars up and pull out tubing, (residual water came out so have towel handy) had new valve positioned exactly how would reinstall so just pushed water line into new valve connector, then repeated process for all 3 water lines. Last unplugged electrical connectors and plugged into new valve in same position. Reattached new valve to mount w/2 screws, turned on water supply to check connections for leaks. (Finding none) Plugged electrical cord back into wall, used water pitcher to cycle water thru door water dispenser, waited for first cycle of water to fill ice maker. So easy and quick. Thank you to previous people who gave directions, and Partselect for easy diagrams, ordering, and shipping quickly.

fill tube blocked installation
as discribed in video except the fill tube blocked insertion ofice maker. Had to force it inbecause the fill tube was blocking the slide in of the trayby an inch. Had to force the tray by the fill tube. Thought it might break the plastic box on the tray. After quite a bit of effort, it finaaly slid in. No mention of this problem in the video.

Ice make isn't filling due to frozen/plugged water line
Pull out the refridgerator from the wall. Unplug the fridge and turn off water supply. Remove the cardboard cover from the bottom of the back side of the fridge. The valve assembly is on the bottom right side of the the fridge when looking at the back. Remove the valve assembly. remove the color coded electrical connectors. Push in the quick disconnect fitting on the valves and gently pull the tubes out of each valve, if it won't come out you can cut the lines, just make sure they are nice and clean and straight. The new part was a perfect fit. Push the tubing in to the size matched valve inlets reconnect the electrical connections reattach valve assembly to the fridge, next open the freezer door and lift the ice make door and take you a hair dryer, turn it on and hold it about 1-2 inches away from the rubber hose that is used to fill the ice maker for about 2-3 minutes to remove the ice blockage. Once it is clear, turn on the water check for leaks and verify correct operation of water and ice. Reinstall the card board, push the fridge back into place. and enjoy a cool beverage and pat your self on the back cause you just fixed your ice maker!

No ice
The replacement went very easy, however I still have no ice. I'm not sure what to check for next. Any ideas? I unplugged it for about 2 minutes and nothing. I do not hear the water filling the unit, the water on the door works fine though.

Ice Chute Freezing Up
Removal of escutcheon was easy. Replacing icedoor was fairly easy, working with wires in the way was a little distracting but simple. Be careful with microswitches and locating pins. Two of mine broke, had to replace bracket. Simple job again. Everything working fine now. No ice jam in chute. Using needlenose pliers to remove/insert pin is the best and easiest option.

Refrigerator door not closing on it's own
Lower door closing cam was completely worn down so door wouldn't close on it's own. Ordered parts which arrived in a couple of days. After watching installation video on this website the job looked pretty easy. Needed socket wrench to loosen nuts at top, they were really tight. Removed door. Replaced both the cam on the bottom of door and the cam on the main unit, put door back on making sure it was straight and lined up properly. Retightened top nuts securely. Voila, problem fixed in only about 15 minutes or so.
