Light switch inoperative
Remove inside door trim plate. Then removed three screws that held in the light assembly. The only difficult thing was reconnecting the temperature adjustment rod. After replacing this rod you must slide the temperature control slide to midway and this hold the rod in place while reinstalling the light assembly. If I were to do it again it would probably take me half as long.

Work sometime , sometime you have to tap around the thermostat area
Working from inside out . Remove left upper tube cover and then vent cover . Remove thermostat tube from around the vent . Remove knobs and front cover . Remove 4 hex screws , drop the whole unit enough to expose the left control rod , remove the rod retaining clip . Gently separate control rod from unit . Take the whole unit to working bench or table . Remove thermostat and bracket . Need to reuse bracket with new thermostat . Don't forget the clear plastic tube you have to reuse that as well . Be careful not to kink the thermostat tube . Reverse procedure , working from outside in . Good luck

The old ice maker's protective finish flaked off causing some cubes to stick to the mold and consequently water overflow into the bin below causing ice cubes to fuse into large ice globes.
I disconnected power plug. Pulled ice bin and flip down ice conpartment lid out. Using nutdriver removed screws. My wiring harness is permanently connected to side back wall of frig. so I disconnected wiring plug from ice maker. Installed orig. wire bracket/arm to new ice maker. Connected new ice maker to original wiring plug. Screwed ice maker back in. Had ice a few hours later. It took 2 days for ice bin to refill completely. Saved money by replacing myself vs multiple service tech. trips, service fee, and part cost. Part arrived 3 days after I placed my online order. Thank you PartSelect you have a customer for life.

Motor coupling broken and auger bent due to a jam
The new auger looks nothing like the older one it replaced but rest assured the part fits and it works better than the original. Once I figured out the LH stamped on the motor coupler meant left hand thread the repair was a breeze. It's a lot easier if you remove the motor assembly from the freezer and let it come to room temperature before starting the repair.

the auger broke
It was pretty easy, but I sure wish they had said the auger had "left" hand thread. After I watched a vid on youtube the job went very easy. The new auger works just fine. The only problem I had was the left handed thread with the plastic nut on the end of the auger. Well worth the effort now I can get ice reguulary.,All the parts fit too.

Old refrigerator drawer gave up the ghost--don't know why--plastic became brittle
Parts Select Website was very easy to use, selected the correct part for me with no problem. Same drawer as Sears was selling but for much less money. Drawer came in new from the factory. Great Service, Fast Delivery. The shipper had damaged the drawer--something poked through the box and put a whole in the drawer--a small one cause by a sharp instrument of some kind. Called parts select, the problem was very simply rectified by refunding my money and then I bought a new drawer at the same time. No fuss, no muss. Fast delivery and great service.

Ice bin auger drum had broken
Removed the auger apparatus from the ice bin, replaced the auger drum and then reattached the auger apparatus to the bin. Cause of breakage was due to ice melting in the bin and then refreezing. Keeping the many parts in the correct order on the auger can be difficult.

Floating baffle and Ice bin auger drum were both broken and needed replaced.
The video of the repair that was on your website was extremely helpful. It showed in detail how to replace the parts item by item. I could not have done it correctly without the video. I believe anyone could have replaced these parts with your instruction video.
