The freezer would go ibto defrost mode and not cycle into freeze mode.
un-plug the power cord. remove both control knobs. pry off the cover. remove 1 screw on the right and left with the nut driver. remove two screws in back with the nut driver. remove the screw holding thermostat in place, loosen screw holding the left side of the l plate. lift thermostat up and remove two nut driver screws. remove the temperature sensing line from holding device. Remove cover down the side of refrigerator and the cover over the sensor (in back corner) carefully remove the sensor line. Carefully bend the sensor tube into the shape of the removed part(do not kink)install the new part in the reverse order of removing.. Use flat blade screw driver to press sensor line into the snaps. This was one of the easiest repairs I have ever completed.

Water dripping from the water dispenser
Replaced the water inlet valve. Note: although the web site shows the exact same water inlet valve, the replacement is somewhat different. You'll notice the electric prongs are facing in the opposite direction then the old one. It works like a charm need not worry as I did when I saw that. The old part is actually two parts in one. Use care when separating the front piece (it acts like a coupling where the water supply connects to and simply comes out the other side and into the refrig.) from the water inlet valve. It was a tight fit coupling that front piece to the new valve but it will fit. Make certain you purge 1-2 gallons of water before consuming any. Also dump a tray or two of ice cubes.

Shut off Water and Electricity. Took out the Ice Bin. Removed one bottom hex nut and then loosened top-side hex nuts (don't remove them, just loosen them) the Ice maker will slide onto the hex nuts on the side of the refrigerator.Disconnected the wiring harness from the maker. Put everything back in reverse order and Bingo! No leaks and lots of Ice.
