After first replacing the water valve, the issue with our ice maker remained so we ordered the ice maker unit after watching the video at partselect.com. It couldn't have been easier. I had the whole unit replaced in less than 10 mins. It took about an hour for it to cycle and fill, so my husband thought it wasn't working, but I wanted to let it be and see what happened...and an hour later I heard it fill. It's been about 2 weeks and it's working perfectly. Partselect is officially our 'go-to' site from now on!!

It was simple, three screws two at the top and one at the bottom. Then unplug the wires that ran from the fridge to the icemaker. Reverse the pocedure to put in the new icemaker and take a jumper wire and start the cycle, finish. It was a simple exchange. The icemaker was a little expensive, but it works. Thanks partselect.
