Turn off power. Remove ice tray. Back out the two screws with nut driver and just lift ice maker off screws. Do not bend the water fill tube in the back . Now unplug the wire and remove ice maker . To replace, match the color of wires on plug. Adjust wires in place and water fill tube and back on to the screws. Hold in place and snug screws. Turn power back on. In 4 to 5 hours your ice will start . FED-EX UT to MN was 13 days to deliver .
Faceplate for icemaker fell off, breaking ribbon cable
Ordered new ribbon cable. At first I couldn't figure out how to get the wide end of the ribbon cable off, and I took the whole inner circuit board out - in fact, all it needed was more muscle, a straight pull out, no clips or anything holding it in other than friction. The narrow end attached to the control button board has two clips which pull towards you to loosen the ribbon. Easy install, worked perfectly
The frame for the meat pan in my Frigidaire refrigerator broke in the middle front, which made opening the drawer a little tricky.
No big deal. I took out the glass in the frame, took out the meat drawer, and removed the broken frame, which doesn't take any tools. After removing the frame, I inserted the new frame, which pops in to two clips in the back, and two in the front on each side. I cleaned the glass and put it into the frame. I re-inserted the drawer into the frame. And VOILA!
2 drawer undercounter beverage ref not getting cold enough. Wont get below 48°
Took drawers out by removing 2 screws on top of rail near front, then popped black plastic cover off in lower right inside cabinet...sensor just un plugged and new one plugged in easily...did not fix problem though...display set at 34 but bottom drawer reads about 40 at best and upper drawer reads around 55...dont think the 3 little fans inside on back wall have been running

Icemaker was producing hollow ice due to water was free flowing out the water dispenser during fill time for icemaker.
Removed old water valve w/ screwdriver, cut threads off old hose (as they just plug straight into new valve) & pushed hoses into new water valve. Solved both problems!!!!
Old valve comes out with 2 screws, water lines removed and reinstalled on new valve just as they came off the old valve. Entire job took less than 10 minutes. Very easy replacement.
Just push the button on the top right hand and pull the filter out; then proceed to instal the new one pushing it in place. It's really an easy operation!!
Refrigerator door won't stay shut/grinds when closing
I removed the door (2 minutes) by removing the door hinge cover (one cross-tip screw) and then loosened the tuo hinge mounting bolts. I then removed the broken bearing hinge and plate (3 minutes) from the bottom of the door and installed the bearing and plate, and then re-installed the door (2 minutes). My four-year-old helped me.
The part arrived in about 2 days! The right side support that is attached to the inside wall of the refridgerator, that holds the crisper guide, broke apart and would not support the crisper. We took everything off of that shelf and took out the crisper and the glass that is on the shelf. We then carefully pried the support from the interior wall (it was a slow tedious move to be sure we did not damage the wall of the fridge). We made sure all of the pieces were out and snapped the new one into place. For some reason the old one did not want to come out. It broke into many pieces and we carefully pulled all of the little pieces out of the notches
Remove screws under tray and trim piece. Lift up and remove face plate. Disconnect flat bundled wires and tape off. Remove ground wires. Remove face plate. Remove dispenser assembly. Remove and replace actuator. Reassemble.
