leak @ bottom of door
First replaced the door seal, that slowed it down substantially, but not totally. Next replaced inner door foam insulation strip and that took care of it, no more leaks. There was some corrosion evident after I scraped off the old strip, sanded that smooth with emery sandpaper and then installed new strip. Job done!

plastic piece that holds spring broke
Because mine is a portable dishwasher, I had to remove top first. the sides and back are one complete unit. the torque screws are in the front, 2 on top, and 2 in rear. Then the panels can slide back to access the spring. Replace the plastic piece & hooked on the spring. Reassemble in reverse order.

The Rubber Around The Door Is Corroded Causing Water To Leak,
Well, I haven't gotten the right part yet. I'm such an idiot that I've ordered the wrong part twice now. So, figuring that 3's a charm, I'm going to try to get the right part now. I do have to say that part select has made it amazingly easy to return the parts. And both of the first 2 (wrong) parts arrived within 2 days of ordering. I'm pretty impressed with this company. Now, if I can just order the right part, I can tell you how the installation went!

Dishwasher stopped starting more than a year ago
First problem was finding out whether Dishwasher had power at all, since nothing happened when you tried to start it, and I really didn't want to have to pull it out and disconnect the power cables at the box on the back of the dishwasher. Used the video instructions from PartSelect and opened the inside door panel and exposed the switch, then put a continuity tester (light with two prongs) across opposite sides of switch (white one side, black the other). With the test light on, knew I had power and was able to locate circuit breaker to turn off power to dishwasher, all without dismounting it from the cabinet at all. From there, followed the video. Hardest part was disconnecting wires from the old switch, which was slightly corroded. Plier trick on video didn't do it, and had to use large screw driver blade to carefully lever wires off of the switches. NOTE: Look at the new switches before doing this, and you'll be able to visualize how the wire clips slip on the switch connectors. Great site, and dishwasher started right up after the repair.
