Top rack of dishwasher not getting water. Chopper blade was kicked off from a piece of plastic that got wedged. Chopper screen clogged.
Checked to see if top spinner was clogged. All ok. Wanted to see if water was flowing from bottom. Checked a video to see how to remove parts to access lower area. Saw the problem immediatley. Clogged Chopper screen due to broken chopper blade. Ordered new chopper assembly and got it in two days. Five minuted to install. Washer works like new.

The problem with the machine is that dirt and food particles that ran off my counter top collected around the edge of the control panel, and I attempted to clean this unsitely dirt.I did not receive any instructions with the parts shipment.
Before I ordered the replacement part I carefully disassembled the front panel of the dishwasher, and I documented the placement of all parts and electrical connections using sketches and photgraphs. When I attempted to peal off the printerd electrical panel from behind the touch buttons the circuit board tore.Therfore I went on line to find a replacement printed circuit board. Without any difficulty I was able to order the proper part which arrived in aout 1 1/2 days. Except for the lack of directions I was satisfied with your service, and would reccomend your company to anyone.

No Power to Dishwasher
I watched the Video that was supplyed with the e-mail and when the part got here I new just what to do and it took maybe 15 min at the most. You saved me over $100.00 from what we had to pay once before for the same problem to a repair man. And now I know where to buy my parts for all my appliances when they fail and with KitchenAid it seems to be quite often.

Dishwasher leaking from door
Old gasket was broken in places and old. Installing the new one was easy- no tools required. Just pull out the old one and press in the new one. Washer still leaks because door does not close all the way- need to figure out how to get it to shut tight. Maybe the latch is loose or worn.

No lights on panel and no response to buttons pushed
The first check was for any circuit breakers that tripped. Upon finding the circuit breakers intact, I removed the front panel from the dishwasher and verified power was up to the panel, which is was. I removed the kick panel and located documentation for schematics and troubleshooting. This led me to the bi-metal switch (non-resettable). After turning off the power, I checked the continuity across the switch and found it was open. Then I provided a short across the switch and turned the power on to verify panel was working properly, which is was. This verified the bi-metal (thermal switch) was the issue. I then ordered the switch and installed it per the instructions. While looking for the switch, I did run across another post suggesting the additional wire leads with the kit should be included since they act as a heat sink. With the new switch installed along with the additional wire leads, the dishwasher is working fine.
