drum bearing was worn completely out
Part select made the repair soooo easy. The videos are VERY well done and "Steve" is a great teacher. I loved the fact that on the email confirmation, Part Select had attached the link to a video for each repair. My dryer works perfect now! Not to mention, the parts were much more affordable than buying from other parts providers on line and shipping was very fast.

Horrible squeaking noise during operation
The only tool used was a phillips head screwdriver. I removed two screws to lift the lid and two more screws to free the front panel, slid off the front panel, and had direct access to all 4 slides, replaced, reassembled, and good as new.

Dryer runs but does not heat
My dryer would run but not heat and the timer would not advance. PartSelect helped me determine that the heating element needed to be replaced. I have very little experience with appliance repair. I found this to be challenging but well worth it.

heating element had broke connection
when dryer was taken apart it was discovered the belt and the skides needed to be replaced as well. The parts arrived however, I did not know only 1 glide was ordered and sent. It was assumed they would have come with as many you needed; did not realize they were charged indivdually. The repair was pretty much easy. The dryer is now heating correctly and this has been the first repacement of parts I've had to do in the amount of time of I've had the dryer. Parts Select had everything I needed and it was shipped in a timely manner. I was very pleased.

Dryer was making a lot of noise when operating
Thanks to the Part Select YouTube videos, I was able to determine how to disassemble the dryer without having to spend much time trying to fixure that evolution out, and I was pretty much able to troubleshoot what the potential problems (and fixes) were via the various Part Select videos (drum slide(s) install, bearing install). The only part that took a bit of time to install was the drum rear bearing. It is an easy install, but it was helpful to have my son hold the bearing from the back (outside) of the drum while I tighten the screws from the inside of the drum. Again, watching the Part Select videos beforehand is a must!

Videos were perfect and job was easy
The repair was performed in the laundry room which was large enough the handle all the parts when disassembled. I followed the video and it was perfect without any errors. The job was simple and even putting on the new belt without having the ability to see what I was doing. You'll understand when you view the video and perform the job. Just follow the instructions including using the newly supplied screw to tap the new holes.

Dryer door would no longer shut.
Simply popped the old broken part out and popped the new part into place. I wasn't sure if it was the Latch Door or the Door Strike. Once the parts arrived, it was clear the Door Strike was not the issue.

Load noise,more with heavy loads
Your videos are very thorough. The only problem with your video is the failure to address drum felt retention. The new drum replacement felt is shorter than the original felt. If you install the felt as shown in video it will most definitely come loose and you will be doing your repair again. The original was long enough to double back and hook on the back side of the top bearing support. The newer version needs to be put through the last slot on the are both ends of ends of the top bearing support. You will have to compress the felt somewhat in order to work through the slots. this should give you enough retention to grip the drum felt and hold it firmly in place. Other than that the video is quite good. Thanks to Partselect for doing a great job. Most appliance repairs are not too bad to do.
