The dishwasher door latch was broken and would not hold the door closed.
I unplugged the dishwasher under the sink. I opened the dishwasher up and took out the 12 screws holding the inside door facing on. I gently moved the door facing down towards the dishwasher to reveal the door locking mechanism at the top of the door. I unplugged the mechanism and plugged in the new one. I put the door back together the same way I had taken it apart. In all it took about 12 minutes. Works like a charm.

Dishwasher Did Not Clean And Drain Properly
Routine repair. There are videos on the net that show exactly how to replace the filter unit. However, when you order the filter, order a replacement pump impeller. The impeller must be removed to remove the filter on this model. The impeller was stuck on the shaft, and I had to destroy it with the side cutter pliers to get it off. Before putting the new one on, clean the pump shaft thoroughly and lube the shaft with silicon lube or vaseline jelly. Clean the bottom of the water pan thoroughly, then reassemble. Then pour one cup of vinegar in the bottom of the dishwasher and run it with no dishes. This will clean the inside of the dishwasher.

Latch was broken
My 14 year old grandson was able to repair this for me in less than 15 minutes! The repair was very simple. First, he removed the inside door panel, then took out the old handle and switch. (also remember to turn off the electricity to the dishwasher!) The new handle, and switch assembly fit right in, and he finished up; with screwing the door panel back in place.

Upper rack stopped gliding smoothly in tracks.
Repair was very quick. Pop the lock on each rail endcap with a flathead screwdriver, remove endcap and set aside. One at a time, unclip each wheel from it's mount point and replace with new wheel, clipping it back into place. Once all four are done, reinsert the end caps and re-engage the locks (can be done by hand. Total repair time was maybe 5 minutes. Upper rack slides like new again.
