Simple,just remove the 6 screws that hold the mecanisem together,with the bucket,pull bucket apart,slide new one into place,and replace screws

Set up two saw horses to put door on. Unloaded door shelves. removed upper hinge, and lifted door from lower hinge, placed door on horses. changed lower hinge on refrigerator. put door back on lower hinge, and closed door. Put upper hinge back on. Reloaded door shelves. It took more time to Unload, and Load door shelves than to replace Hinge.

Had to take front panel off dispenser area. Then remove components and install new part. That was easy part. Problem was getting components back into front of freezer. Seemed like something was blocking it from going all the way in. Had to remove small amount of insulation and "jiggle" components and eventually fell into place.

Removed the faulty ice maker in about two min.. New unit was installed in approx. five min. Watched your video prior to installation and it helped greatly.

Emptied freezes, turned off power, took floor of freezer out [4 screws ], took two screws out of fan mounts and replaces fan. Reassembled by reverse process. Simple

pulled out frig unplugged power turned off water at tank disconnected water line and electrical plugs replaced valve replaced wire hook ups different size but easy to install.(came with valve) Cut water lines off inserted into valve different sizes so easy to connect in right place. Reattached electrical wires. (Note remember were the wires came from) Checked for leaks Done! Might want to make sure tubes are inserted completely and you cut the tubes off straight...possible water leak if not.

First Unplug! then Removed shelves light bulb in freezer removed back panel and themostat right on top pulled off cut wires and butted up to new wires then puched clip back on and replaced everything. Works like a charm now. just as though it was a new one.

very easy. took off back panel in freezer compartment. re moved 4 screws on defrost tubes ,unplugged defrost harness. Assembled in reverse, mounted tubes then routed wires up right side of coils,snapped thermostat on refrigerant line where old one was. plugged harness back together and secured wires and replaced panel and shelves.

I first replaced the door cam and then found out that the bottom hinge was also defective and the shim was broken. Took the door off and replaced the hinge and shim. Replaced the door, leveled it and tightened it down. Job complete. Video provided by Part Select was very helpful.

used a flat screwdriver to pop off out side cover then remove 6 screws took off plate. Pulled off the flapper and replaced. less the 15 mins and fixed the issue

Took out the old, replaced with the new. Needed second person to hold the flash light. That is the secret to get it plugged in and secured.

Problems were due to the solenoids for the inlet valves not turning on and off as quickly as they should. Unplugged the refrigerator and pulled it out from the wall to get access to the back. Removed the back cover and the screw that holds the dual water inlet assembly, just as shown in the video. One difference is that the connectors for one of the new solenoids are narrower than the originals. It is necessary to use the two little adapter blades provided along with the new assembly to make them fit tightly in the existing wiring harness connector. We also noticed that the ice dispenser flapper was not closing all the way. Removed the trim plate around the water/ice dispenser by slipping a knife blade under the bottom edge and prying it loose. It was not as easy as in the video. Next, removed the nameplate and 4 screws that are under it. Disconnected the wiring plug at the top left and let the disconnected front assembly hang down to get access to the ice dispenser door solenoid. Disconnected the wiring harness from the solenoid and removed the solenoid attaching screws. Removed the flapper and it's crank arm and then the spring. Put everything back together in reverse order. The only thing a little bit tricky is that the trim plate must be hung from the top cleat first before pressing the sides and bottom edges to snap them back in place. Very nice to have water, ice, and a dry floor again.

Turn off refrigerator.
Empty freezer remove shelves and back plate.
With hair dryer melt ice, I made a tray out of old plastic to drain water to outside into pan outside of freezer, so I would not over fill the drain pan.
Removed to old parts and replaced. Check the wire length to see what one goes on top. I forgot to do this and had to remove and switch them.
Clip on the thermostat and plug in wire. Close back, insert racks and and back in business.
Not a hard repair!

I read the step by step instructions that came with the part. I turned two screws and disconnected the electrical harness and Removed the icemaker. Two other parts from the old icemaker were easily removed without any tools and put on the new icemaker. The new icemaker was put in the same way the old one came out. I reconnected the electrical harness and tightened the old screws. The hardest part of the whole job was reading the directions. They were easy to follow if you take the time to Just read them!
