Back right burner would not ignite. Bad Switch
I removed the burner knobs, unscrewed the 2 screws and removed the cover. I pulled the old switch off the stem and removed the wires. I reconnected the wires to the new switch and pushed it in place on the stem. After checking to make sure the new igniter switch worked, I replaced cover tightened the 2 screws and replaced the knobs. Job done in 5 minutes!

Igniters did not spark
Unplug and pull range away from wall.
Remove metal panel from back of range by using nutdriver to remove 4 screws.
Use phillips scewdriver to remove 2 screws holding old spark module.
Unplug 4 wires from spark module and note placement of wires for reinstall.
Install new module by reversing procedure.
Slide range back against wall and plug in.

Entire process took less than 30 minutes.

NOTE: Spark Module received from partselect.com did not match old part exactly. The screw holes on the new part did not line up with screw holes from old part. I reinstalled new part with just 1 screw. Was told by partselect customer service that the part I received had been substituted and would work fine. It does work but it did not fit correctly.

The grates, pan and burner plates were discolored
We've been wanting to replace these parts ever since we moved into our home. It was an amazingly easy process. The range looks like new. PartSelect was a great company to work with. You could track your product's mailing status easily online. One of the grates arrived with several scratches on it. When we contacted PartsSelect, they immediately sent us a new grate. We are very pleased with this company, and we will use them for future appliance parts needs.

to convert a cook-top stove with 2 burners and a side grill into a 4 burner stove.
Replacing the side grill burners was easy--lift off the grill covers and pull out the grill burners. Next, attach the new front and rear burners to the burner plate with 2 screws (the older version uses 4 screws) using a nutdriver. Place the 2 burner unit (now joined) into the 2 gas inlets (no screws necessary--just slip them over the tubes). Insert the grill pan over the burners and place the 2 burner grates over each burner. Done!

Front burner wouldn't light because hole burned in metal tube that channelled gas to burner
So very easy!!!! I'm a 70 year old grandmother with a small socket set - and that's all I needed! Removed one small screw, removed old burner, popped new burner in, replaced one screw, and back in business! Placed order, received it in 2 days, fixed burner. So much faster than calling a repairman!

The new Maytag knobs did not depress the half-round metal post and therefore did not allow the knobs to turn.
Inside the knob, I placed a dab of CA glue on the small plastic projection , which was designed to press against the metal post, but was just shy of it. By thus building it up the knobs function perfectly.

Broken oven door hinge
I watched a You Tube video, removed and dismantled the door, installed the new hinge. I forgot to remove the small pin which is similar to a rivet. When I tried to close the door it bent. Eventually, I remembered the shipping pin and pulled it out with any damage. Believe it or not, I had read about the shipping pin on customer comments on PartsSelect...Good luck, it is relatively easy!
