Slight squeak that got worse and louder over time
(1)I watched the videos here and read other comments about the problem... (2)Decided since I have the dryer apart, I might as well replace other parts that probably should be replaced too. (3)Make sure you order two of each of the Drum Bearing Slide-White and BEARING SLIDE (gray color), They are not sold as pairs! (4)following the Front Drum Slide video, the job was very easy.

Making awful squealing noise
I will not go into detail how I installed the part because I'm sure many has posted it already. At first I thought my washer was shot and have to buy a replacement. I was about to do that when I decided to search the internet for possible causes and repair. You see, I don't know squat about washers and when I found Part Select's website not only did they guide me through the diagnosis they also have a video detailing how to replace the broken part. Saved a lot of money. Spent $45 compared to $500 for a new washer. Thanks Parts Select. You sure put the handy in man.

Drum wobbling and thumping
Followed the Part Select video instructions which made the repair really easy!! Thanks for a job well done! ALSO.. the drum wobble was not caused by worn slides and felt. There are three screws holding the drum axle flange. Two of them fell out leaving the drum to flop about as it rotated. So we scavenged some screws from elsewhere on the dryer and problem solved. Once again.. thanks to Part Select for great instructional videos and great customer service ordering parts.

The dryer squeaked really loud
I watched a video on PartSelect.com, opened up the dryer (that's the first time I had opened a dryer), found that the bearing was worn down, ordered the replacement parts for under $40, and fixed the dryer in just a few minutes. The whole process was much easier than I expected. I should have done it weeks ago.

Loud and annoying sqeaking noise while running.
Thanks completely to the free videos on PartSelect.com. At first I thought it was the bearing at the rear of the drum. After ordering that part, I realized the noise was from the front of the dryer. I watch some more videos and decided it was the Front Drum Bearing and the 4 drum bearing slides. Parts were very inexpensive. The job took less than 15 minutes. Just had to remove the top dryer panel and pull out the front panel (with door) just a little to replace the front bearing. My dryer is now super quiet and like brand new again.

GE dryer was squeaking when used.
I used the provided PartSelect video as a guide and easily completed the replacements in under an hour. Remove four screws, take the front of the dryer off, unplug the cables, remove and replace the front drum bearing and two drum bearing slides, reconnect cables, and re-attach the front of the dryer. NOTE: keep an eye on the three cables you have to unplug to remove the front of the dryer, as they will need to be re-attached in the correct locations once you're ready to re-assemble the dryer.

Squeaking Noise
My dryer started to squeak so I checked several websites to fix the problem and found that PartsSelect was the most informative. The website easily directed me to the problem and provided me with the most likely cause. The top two issues for squeaking were the front drum bearing and the front drum bearing white slide. I purchased both and upon receiving the parts I watched the installation video which was very informative. After watching the video I realized that I needed two white slides and only one is in each packet. I went back online ordered the second extra white slide, two dark slides and the felt. Both orders were delivered quickly. The repair could not have been easier. All that I needed was a screwdriver and less than 30 minutes to do the repair. I found that both the white slides and dark slides were completely destroyed so I would definitely recommend purchasing both anytime you purchase the drum bearing.
