Dryer Belt Popped
The dryer belt was delivered promply, afterwards I lifted the top of the dryer and unscrewed the front panel, so it would lower. Then I watch a 5 minute video and it clearly demonstrated how to install the belt. This was my first time, so it took about 30 minutes.

Squeaky wheel
Basically I started off using youtube to see how to install. Two things to be sure you do – one the plastic washer only goes on one side (read the instructions)of the shaft and two the support brackets are not threaded so you need to use the original self-tapping screws. The screws that come with it will not work. Best to use a socket set to install the screws.

Dryer Stopped Mid Cycle and Would Not Start
Dryer stopped mid cycle with a load in it. First checked breaker, then door switch with an ohm meter and went to Partselect web site where they said it was most likely the high limit fuse. Checked the high limit fuse with an ohm meter and it was open so I ordered the kit. Installation was tight (I have big hands) and I found it necessary to remove the heating coil in order to line up the fuse mounting plate on the side heater box. Also had to remove the two wire clips above the heater to gain access. All in all, it was fairly easy and when done, the dryer started up.

Broken Belt
PartSelect sent the exact right part, and very quickly! YouTube showed me how to install it. The only hard part was the bulkiness of the drum, which is why I marked "a bit difficult" for the repair.

The blower wheel came apart and was rubbing on the housing.
I unplugged the dryer. Lifted the top, removed the two screws to the front and popped the shut off switch out of it's clip. Then removed the housing front. Getting the old hub off was not that hard but getting the new one on was a pain. I filed the motor shaft to get the rust and any burrs off. Then I had to fit the new wheel to the shaft. I used my pocket knife to open the hole in the wheel. After I got the clamp and clip on reassembly went pretty quick. I hope this is enough detail.

Won't tumble
Watched how-to video provided on PartSelect website. Most time was spent cleaning out the cabinet of lint and other debris. I found over 5 bucks in loose change! I Found pulling the belt over the motor pulley to be the trickiest. Note: my dryer will be 30 years old come this September. I wonder how many more years I'll get out of it!

dryer was not heating.
i checked the power cord to be sure it was plugged in properly. i checked the thermal fuse in the front. i checked the thermostat fuse. i checked the heater element circuit and found infinite ohms. i checked kept the front cover up and watched that the heating element never came on. that confirmed my decision to buy the heating element. i installed a new one along with the thermostat that came in the kit. problem solved! my dryer is working again and everyone is happy again.

It wasnt to bad,its way easy for people with small hands its a tight fit for larger hands that was my only problem. After putting the dryer back in service it still did not heat correctly so I pulled the lint catcher out and the vent hose off the back and blew it out with an air compressor my God what a mess it was plugged bad should have had a fire so please look at doing the same with yours if its an older dryer.

Broken Dryer belt
Can't stop laughing about the mistake I almost made, before I even looked on internet I called Sears and scheduled a repair appointment, $80.00 just to have someone come out and tell me what my problem was not to repair it but to tell me whats wrong. And I told them the belt had broken I heard it when it snapped. Long story short version I found your website and entered appliance information, found part for $15.00 but also found on-site video clearly making the needed repair. Clear step by step instructions taking only 8 minutes looked very easy so I took a chance ordered the part two days later part arrived so I went into basement armed with laptop and tools. MAN it was easy.... too easy ....worked out fine video was spot on. Thanks you guys are a great company

Dryer stoped working
Thanks to Parts select it saved me hundreds of dollars. I dont know the exact age of my dryer as it was here when I bought the house. It stopped working and I thought, well here goes a few hundred dollars. I looked on line for possible fixes and found Parts select "thank goodness". There was discriptions and a video on how to fix a hight limit switch. I bought the parts was about 36 dollars with shipping, watched the video and fixed it in 15-30 minutes. simple, thanks again for having an awsome site. Dennis Pudoka, FL.
