Old icemaker still worked but was leaking water
Oredered the new icemaker. They delivered fast - it was here in 2 days. One nut holds in the icemaker, then it just lifts out and unplug the wiring harness. New unit was identical, which is very nice. No modifications to make. It went right in and works perfect. Great experience.

Tab broke off deli tray and lid wouldn't stay on
All I had to do was remove three screws. Took a few minutes to figure out the arm that controls the air flow into the deli section but that was not difficult, and I replaced the piece and put the screws back in. Done! Beats the heck out of having someone from the company where I bought it come out, then go order the part, then come back out to install it. I figure I saved at least $100. Takes NO great talent.

Right Side End cap and Pantry lid broken
Removed pantry lid, pantry drawer, shelf, two drawers. Unscrewed metal side rail. Removed right side end cap plus attached back rail. Had to figure out how to remove sliding drawer mechanism, not easy, all plastic, easily breakable-reattached that to new right side end cap. Put everything back (not easy-angle makes it hard). Reattached lid to new side end cap and all is well! My husband and I did this-for us it took two people.

Ice maker was leaking
The repair was very easy. I only had to undo the harness from the refrigerator and remove three screws to take out the ice maker. After removing the part I simply removed the other end of the harness from the old ice make and attached it to the new one and replaced the new ice maker by plugging the harness back into the refrigerator and then replacing the three screws. In about 2 hours I had ice!!!

Ice maker stopped making ice
I opened the front of the ice maker and saw that a piece of plastic was broken off. It was the piece that connected up to the ice ejector. Since it was broken, the motor would turn to eject the ice, but it could not drive the ejector. All I really need to replace was that small piece of plastic, but the individual pieces are not sold separate. I had to by the complete motor assembly, but it was much easier to replace the entire piece. Cost me about $60. A repair man would have charged that and much more.

Ice Maker Stopped Working
I found a video on You Tube that showed how to do it. Only had to remove 1 screw! The most difficult part was getting the ice out of the freezer and feed tube. I turned off the unit, went for errands and let nature take its course. I put a tray down in front of the freezer but my floor still got a good mop.

Broken hinge point.
I removed the storage drawers, glass shelf and the large drawer. Next I removed the two mounting screws and removed the Pantry End Cap. I moved the slide bar and the drawer guide the the new Pantry End Cap. Then I installed the new Pantry End Cap in the refrigerator and replaced the drawers and shelf. Last, I installed the drawer cover. Job Done!

the plastic window had broken
The repair was easy. chosing the right part required phone help. From the web photo of the part it is not knowable if the part includes the glass window. I had to call. Also I needed help if finding the correct part. But alls well that ends well. And the replacement was easy. Thanks for your interest in my experience.
