followed the video instructions....easy as pie. Glad i bought the belt too....the belt on my dryer was very worn. Changed the bearing with the kit. Very easy to do. The whole job was done in an hour and a half....back together and running without the squeak. Glad i repaired instead of buying a new dryer. Next time i have a problem with an appliance, i will be checking PartSelect first.

The main drum bearing was bad and vibrated the heater coil causing the coil to break, real easy fix, take off top cover of dryer, take off front panels and door assembly, lift up drum and pull forward, replace parts =)

Replaced rear bearing on back of dryer. Repair cost $20.00 an a little time. Much better then buying a new dryer. It was easy to repair the video instructions were great. I would do it again it needed.

Your tutorial video of how to change out the heating element was so helpful, it gave me the confidence to tackle it on my own. It was so detailed, there was no worries of not knowing what to do. Everything was exactly as the video showed, and was very easy to replace this heating element. My wife was thrilled we saved money on doing it ourselves, and grateful to have the dryer working with 3 kids and a husband who works in concrete! Found instructions on "UTube"some of the screws were in a different position but you can see them. While you have the dryer apart it's a great time to clean it and also as long as you've gone this far replace the belt,it's probably time.

The new latch easily snapped it into place.

My order confirmation email had a "how to" video for installing the parts I ordered. I just watched the video, and the installation was ridiculously easy! We've put up with the obnoxious screeching noise for probably about two years, and with about $40 in parts and less than an hour of work time, we have practically a new dryer!!

took front panel off, removed access panel in rear to disconnect the belt from motor. removed top panel (this is a stack unit) take plastic rivets loose from lint trap, remove lint trap tube, pull drum out after slightly pulling up to dislodge drum from bearing cradle, Remove bracket and bearing from back of unit, clean parts of old grease (be carefull not to loose small ball bearing on back) Reassemble parts using moderate amount of new grease, put parts back together in reverse order.

The repair was easy. Skill level one task that anyone can perform.

Unplugged dryer, Removed top of dryer, Removed electrical connection to thermal limiter, tested thermal limiter with meter and found that it was bad,removed defective limiter, ordered part, waited for part (1day), put new thermal limiter in dryer. reattached connections, put top of dryer back on, plugged in dryer, attempted dryer start up and it worked. Very easy because of the information I got on this site. Thank you

Once the part arrived, I logged back into my order and watched the part installation video as I did the repair. The video was perfect, it made doing the repair easy and safe. Best part is I didn't end up with any extra screws which was good.

This is a front load dryer. First unbolt top cover of dryer. Then unbolt screws and connections to control panel. Next unbolt all screws holding dryer door and front bottom panel. Next take belt off of drum and slide out drum from the front. From inside of drum remove 3 screws and remove bearing then put new bearing on and bolt up the same way you take old one off. Using an 8mm socket or wrench remove plastic bearing cage located at rear of dryer. When unbolting there is a retaining clip and small steel ball to be removed from back of dryer. Replace this the same way you take it off. He sure to grease the bearing cage then replace everything back from putting the drum in first to your last step bolting on top cover of dryer. Hope this helps anyone doing this repair.

Many thanks for the video you guys put together on replacing dryer belts! I didn't know how I was going to get inside the dryer. I had the dryer apart in 10 minutes! Had to wait a day for the belts to come in. New belt in and dryer running in 15 minutes! Thanks for running a first class operation!! Jim

Did it just as the Video said to and had no problem other than it should have warned about a possible problem with the Drum drive belt going to pieces. I am very happy with PartSelect for the parts and the instructions, it all worked well for this "Old Man". Thank You p.s. My local Sears had the belt or I would have gotten it there too
