loosened and took out 6 screws to the handle and power wires. replaced the new handle and door latch assembly. SIMPLE saved the price of a house call plus mark up on part.

Unplug electric, removed interior screws on door. Handle and door assembly simply unplugs, wrote down connection location description, model number, serial number. Went online to partselect.com and ordered. Within several days the new part arrived and installed part, reassemble and complete in a total of 7 minutes. I saved over $10 through partselect.com. Ken

My boyfriend easily took out the existing handle/latch and replaced with the new handle/latch. Partselect made it very simple to locate which handle/latch I needed, as I had the model # of my dishwasher. All steps were easy except the Maytag layout made it hard to get to the fittings to remove and reconnect the water line. After that we just moved the dishwasher from beneath the counter and laid it down on the front. Removing and testing the old heater element was easy. The hardest part of installing the element was the odd clips inside the dishwasher. I need to return the o-ring and nuts because you included them with the heating element.

Reviewing the process on You Tube saves a lot of time. It took more time to find the correct circuit breaker for the dishwasher than the repair itself; that easy. Thanks.

removed door liner and removed and replaced the electronic control board. reinstalled door liner and reconnected electrical power by closing the circuit breaker. Started the dishwasher and ran it through a normal wash cycle to flush out and clean the dishwasher. All operations were normal. Piece of cake repair thanks to your troubleshooting guide. had to cut the old one off/out piece by piece and pop the door open and got model number went to web found this supplier ordered it wham next day it was delivered and 20 minutes later shazam.............washing dishes again..............super service...............amazing................ well documented and communicated,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well done.......we all should operate so efficiently

took off inside door panel with screw driver(8 screws), unscrewed latch assembly(2 screws) screwed in new assembly:done. It was that easy. part was $25, a repair person quoted me $220. They quoted the part cost at $100.

After replacing the door foam strip and the soap dish grommet I still had the water leakage at the bottom of the door, in fact a bit more leakage. Then I replaced the foam insulator strip on the inner door. Still had the leakage! I opened the door after the water finished the fill cycle and noticed the water level was unusually high. Apparently the water float was partially stuck allowing an over fill. I pushed on the float downward a few times and removed some of the water and re-ran the washer. The leak was reduced to a few drops. Removed the float and soaked it in vinegar to clean it and this cured the problem.

Removed the panels and the part came right out. Easier than I thought. part came faster then expected.

Unscrewed 10 torx fasteners.Pulled inner door panel up to gain access to latch. Latch has both micro switches attached. Un plug switches, remove and replace door latch, button up and your done.

Install complete latch and handle assembly. Remove panel, disconnect wiring and install the assembly
