Oven element was burned out.
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires attached to the element, reattached to new element and replaced screws. This was very easy, I was glad I did not call the repairman.

oven not heating
First I removed the two screws at the back of the oven that hold the element in place (a flashlight is useful for this). I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the wire connectors. Connect up the new element and replace the two screws. Dead simple and quick to do and saved us buying a new stove!!!

The bake element failed and needed to be replaced.
Two screws out, the old bake element came out easily, was able to disconnect very easily from the clip wiring, then replaced with new. I even was able to replace the oven light bulb at the same time. A real cinch.

Oven was not heating properly
After finding out my 2nd hand electric stove was not reaching the temperature I needed to bake my cookies I knew I had to either find out what was wrong & repair it or purhcase another stove. The baking element was the culprit and it was really easy to fix. I disconnected the power line to the stove, unscrewed the old element & pulled apart the contacts from the wires. I then reversed the process and was done in less than 30 minutes. I was extremely pleased with how fast my order was shipped - I ordered the part on Tuesday & the part was waiting for me on Thursday when I got off from work. Will definitely order from PartSelect again!

Heating element burnt out.
Super simple. My husband ordered the part. It arrived in 3 days. The old element plugs right into cables on both sides of the back of the oven and are secured to the rear wall with screws. I unscrewed the plates, detached the wires on each side and slid the new ones in place. It was that easy and took me about 10 minutes.
