Burning smell coming from the machine
I watched the YouTube video twice and it was just as easy as in the video. No problems. I ran a couple of test loads and it was back working like a champ. My parents had their belt changed by a repair man and it cot them $150 (pretty reasonable). This whole repair cost only $45 and 15 minutes (including the video watching time!). It pays to do the simple things.

Water leaking from the transmission shaft
Being mechanically inclined, I found this repair pretty straight forward. First, watch the video and keep returning to it to double check yourself. Second, find someone with the spanner wrench, or purchase one. I called a appliance repair shop, and they loaned me one with a refundable deposit. My only compliant is the the out side tub bolts have a rubber washer that is not included with the repair parts kit. Inspect the rubber or find replacements. As the video explains, "TIGHTEN THE NUTS not the BOLTS", this will keep the old rubber washers from twisting. Recommend replacing your transmission shaft bearing and wash tub seal at the same time, If you can afford them.

screeching noise during spin cycle
contacted Justanswer.com with description. Expert defined problem, identified part need and gave us link to your website. Rapid arrival of part, but we took a couple of weeks to get around to it as the washer was operational, just noisy. Website video of how to do repair was invaluable. Watched prior to starting the job and checked video again during repair to verify understanding. Wonderful to be independent of the vagaries of appliance repair. I would recommend Justanswer and PartSelect to anyone!

Leaking water through middle of tub down over transmission
Exactly as shown in your provided video from You Tube. What a life saver. The description of needed tools, and the fact that the main nuts securing the tub were REVERSE thread! I would not have suspected that and probably would still be beating on them, tightening them rather than loosening them!It is worth the price to purchase the spanner wrench (correct style), used to remove those tub nuts. Thanks for the great service and the video. Well done!

Washer leaked water
The repair went well.I had to replace the seal under the tub.The video was the key to my success,I did not have a spanner wrench,I don't think it would have helped anyway,The nut was corroded I had to drill holes and chisel it apart after that it was no problem.

Washer was leaking under the tub
I did an internet search for a leaking washer and came across this web site.I looked under my washer model and it showed the repair parts plus it has a video of a repairman doing the job.The video was none the less the best help I could ever imagine.Tools needed and how to do the job a step at a time. The parts came to my door in two days via regular shipping method.I also purchased the special SPANNER WRENCH on eBay for about 10 bucks and it showed up the same day as my parts. The job took me about a hour and now my washer works like it should with no leaks. Thanks to Parts Select I highly recommend this site and their my new lifesaver. Ciao, Steve M
