Used Phillips screw driver, installed guide, applied lubricant.

the original path was from the right front control knob around the back of the range and left side of range,which i dismantaled to install the new wires to the right front burner. When I found them to be to short I had to also dismantal the right side so the wires could be routed there. The new wires worked fine but did take some extra time.

1. The infinite switch had several knobs which would fit the switch shaft. Read the directions included with the switch in order to have the shaft fit the proper knob. You can break the shaft with two pairs of pliers. 2. Move the stove away from the wall and unplug it. 3. Remove the 1/4 screws from the back side of the stove and remove the back panel, exposing the switch. 4. Remove the wires one at a time and put them on the new switch. The terminals are L1, L2, P, H1 & H2. The Pilot (p) has a smaller terminal so you don't get it mixed up. Generally L1 is black, L1 is red, P is yellow, H1 and H2 can be blue, brown, yellow, orange or one of these colors striped on a white wire. 5. Remove the old switch from the stove and be sure to save the two mounting screws. 6. Position the new switch so that the side of the switch marked "top" is on top. 7. Install the screws on the new switch and put the knob on it. 8. Carefully test the burner. 9. Unplug the stove and put the back cover on.

#1 I turned off power to stove. Removed two hex head screws that hold burner in place. Next carefully pulled burner out & disconnected the two electric wires that supply power to burner & hooked the wires to the new burner. Then carefully push new burner into place & install the two hex head screws that hold burner in place. Turn power back on to stove & the stove should be turned on for a short time to let the new oily smell burn off the new burner. Then you are finished & stove is ready to use.

Unscrewed mounting plate from back of oven, disconnected spade terminals from old element. Reconnected spade terminals to new element, secured mounting plate w/2 screws...done.

I followed the video instructions. It took about 20 minutes to remove the very old screws. Once that was done the rest of the installation took less than 10 minutes.

I listened to the video instruction and did every thing he said to do. Was a piece of cake.

I ordered the new baking element part for my 29 year old Kenmore oven. I followed your video instructions on the site to replace the old part. The step to remove (ie pull) the old part from the wiring was difficult, and I almost gave up on the matter. With some persistence I finally got the old part disconnected, and the remainder of the installation repair was easy. The new baking element part is shaped a little different from the original part, but it appears to work fine and the oven is now fixed. Thank you.

Be sure to shut off the breaker because many oven controllers only break one side of the 220 volt circuit. That leaves one of the wires hot to ground. Very dangerous! Remove screws that hold the element in place. Pull the element out far enough to expose the terminal screws. Remove the terminal screws. Connect the wires to the terminals on the new element, slide it in place and attached it with existing screws from the old element.

I watched the video twice on how to remove the old bake element and replace with the new one. I followed the directions exactly. In fact the first nut driver set I used has a defect in the 1/4" sock and the video was clear that WAS the correct size so I switched to a different socket set and was able to fit it correctly on the top of the bolts that were holding the bake element in place. I would not have had the confidence to try another socket, had I knot had the knowledge from your instructional video. It was VERY helpful. My oven is over 30 years old!! Really!! And the replacement still went smoothly!! Thank you for the educational/informative way you set up your product purchases/website. I would not have attempted to do this repair myself with out this online training. I highly recommend anyone wanting to replace this part watch the video you provide. It is all the info you will need to do the repair.

Pulled out old with pliers. Twisted new clips in per instructions.

Remove the oven door, took racks out, and removed screws, disconnected wires and removed element. Reverse order, replaced element and put door back on.

I was able to follow the instructions here on line, but not being a repairman, I did not know how to unattach the wires from the element & reattach them. It appeared to me that I needed to unbend the wire clip to remove the wires, but I couldn't see how to do that. A friend came over and showed me they just slip off and on - very easy. Had I known that, he would not have had to drive over to my house!

The repair was quite simple. After removing the oven racks and disconnecting power the old element came out with the removal of two bolts. My only issue was one of the power leads popped off and pulled back through the oven wall. Taking off the heat shield on the back of the oven let me push it right back through. Hookup and reassembly took less than five minutes.
