Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
My bake element actually caught on fire and broke in two.
First I removed the two screws that held the element in place. I then took the plate off the back of the range disconnected the two wires from the element and removed the old element. I then inserted the new element into the oven screwed the nuts back on and hooked the wires on the new element from the back put the plate back up on the back and screwed the nuts back on. It took around 15 minutes to do it all and this was the first time that I have ever done this. It was so easy.
First I removed the oven drawer. Verified that the support clips would rest correctly on rail, then review installation document with supports to locate alternate location for replacement supports. I did have to personally locate 2 fastners not provided with the supports ot complete installation. After installation, oven drawer opens and closes smoothly.
Removed door from range(see manual for instructions). Set door face down on protective cloth material .Remove two top screwws, 3 bottom screws and lift back of door off. Remove two screws on each side of door bottom channel and remove channel. Put in new trim on bottom of glass window and put screws back in. Set back of door on top of front cover and screw two top screws and 3 bottom screws back in. Set door back into range. Lock clips on both hinges.
Baking element : Pull range away from wall. Disconnect the power. Remove back center panel. Remove range door. Remove range racks. Disconnect push on terminals fron baking element. Remove two hex head screws. Remove baking element. Reassemble in reverse order..........Temperature sensor: with back panel removed, unclip the electrical connector. Remove one hex head screw. Remove temperature sensor. Install in reverse order.
Switch started arcing in the dial range of 2 to 8 in about a year.
Pulled the range out and unplugged it. Removed the back panel. Removed one wire at a time and plugging it in on the new switch. unscrewed the existing switch from the front panel (Two screws). Screwed the new one in, replaced the panel, plugged in the range and tested it. The new switch was a perfect OEM replacement and worked perfectly.
Pulled stove out and unplugged. At the rear of the range there were 4 faster. Used a nutdriver piece in an electric drill. Pulled off the cover and located the switch. At the front of the stove, I removed the knob and unscrewed two screws releasing the switch. I undid and replaced each wire connector one-by-one to avoid any wrong connections. Replaced and secured the switch and replace the back panel. All secured, power on and fixed! Easy repair, but something that had been put off for a year! Also follow the installation videos from PartSelect - very helpful!
Only instructions I have has nothing to do with installation. But I'd like to suggest that you find a better shipping method. Placed my order on Feb. 7, received message later same day that it'd shipped. I didn't receive it until Feb. 16th -- very poor delivery service.
I changed out the sensor and still same problem. Change out Thermosat and still same problem. I call the help number and emailed the help but I got nothing but have to many calls because of the virus situation. Still need help. I’m an electrician and I don’t want to call a service technician and pay that big bill. Can anyone there help me out, if so please call. Ike Stanton 678-525-6644
front lift burner not working and surface light on with everything off
unplugged the range removed 4 screws from back top cover then took the knob off controller removed 2 screws from behind the knob removed 1 wirer at a time and placed it on the new controller in same order the wires came off put everything back to gather did not fix the problem .
The oven did not get up to or hold the correct temperature
This should have been a very easy fix. But, as I tried to pull out the old temperature sensor, the wire would not come out. I was afraid to pull too hard because I did not want to break the wire. So, I coxed it out easily until I could see the plastic connector. Then, the old wire pulled free from the connector leaving the end of the connector inside the back of the oven. I then had to fish the end of the wire around with the piece of wire through the very small hole in the back of the oven. Once I got it close to the hole, I was able to grab the connector with some needle nose plyers. Connecting the new sensor and reinstalling everything was easy and the oven now works just fine.
